Robert Pattinson #HighLife exclusive screenings in Sydney and Melbourne

Madman Entertaiment unleashed the Official Australian poster for #HighLife this evening and quite obviously we love it.

In case you haven’t realised, tickets went on sale this morning for the Sydney Film Festival High Life screenings:

• 10 June 2019 at The State Theatre – 8.45pm ;
• 14 June 2019 at The Ritz Cinema, Randwick – 8.45pm ; and
• 15 June 2019 at The State Theatre – 8.45pm.

The film will also have an exclusive run at Cinema Nova in Melbourne from 6 June 2019. You can check out tickets at the hyperlinks above or you can head on over to Madman’s High Life page too.

Sydney Film Festival also shared this great review from Dr Bruce Isaacs,
Senior Lecturer in Film Studies at The University of Sydney – “this atmospheric film presents rich material for Dr Isaacs’s expertise in film aesthetics and style, science fiction, popular culture and critical approaches to film production.” I loved hearing his take on the film.

This kicks off the weekend on a lovely note. The new issue of Sunday Times Style features a new interview and photoshoot with Rob. It hits newsstands on Sunday.

On this episode, we talk about one of, if not THE, most exciting young actors working today: Robert Pattinson. He’s come a long way from his Twilight beginnings with an array of interesting choices to work with interesting filmmakers. His newest foray into auteur filmmaking comes with Claire Denis’s new film High Life. It’s an arthouse movie set in space with lots to dissect. We get into it about this one and don’t share the same feeling, although both agree that Pattinson can do no wrong. Then we get into his first departure from the Twilight series in David Cronenberg’s Cosmopolis. This is the point where we can see pivot to being a great actor. We talk about the movie and his evolution as an actor.
