Robert Pattinson for the new Dior Homme Fragrance

imgbox

Elle France has unleashed the new campaign:

Between Dior and Robert Pattinsonis a story that lasts. For seven years, the British star has embodied the men’s eau de toilette for the French company. For this new juice, the unforgettable Edward Cullen reveals a little more the richness of his game. Filmed by the French duo, The Prodige Blaze, the actor with devastating charm assumes all his sensuality. Because, with this new campaign shot in New York, Dior paints a portrait of the modern man, tender and virile at the same time. As powerful as it is sensual. Raw and suave. Beautiful, but not only … Under the warm voice of Leonard Cohen and his erotic hit “I’m your man”, Robert Pattinson begins a hypnotic dance in a scene worthy of a feature film by Scorsese. As if to evoke a golden age on the big screen where men were fascinating in strength and cracks.

Robert Pattinson compared to Buster Keaton by Robert Eggers in The Lighthouse

image host

The Playlist shared this exclusive A24 featurette where Robert Eggers compares Rob’s comedic ability to Buster Keaton:

And in an exclusive featurette from the making of “The Lighthouse,” we see the director, along with co-star Willem Dafoe, rave about the actor’s ability in a film that hinges on every word and action that he expresses. At one point, Eggers describes Pattinson’s ability as reminiscent of the legendary Buster Keaton, and if you’ve seen the film, you know exactly what he’s talking about. The actor is able to do things in “The Lighthouse” that he hasn’t been given the chance to previously, including some absurdist comedy, pure horror, and of course, an extended scene where he just yells “What!?” at his co-star.

Needless to say, you probably won’t hear anything in the featurette that isn’t obvious from watching the film, but hearing Eggers and Dafoe talk about Pattinson’s ability is a stark reminder that he’s one of the best working today.

I’m not sure how I missed this when it was posted back in November by Netflix UK & Ireland, but I’m glad they put this short little vid together.

Pretty sure I’m going to see this entire film unfold with all these exclusive clips before its Australian release (still pending), but I can’t look away from Rob’s exhilarating performance.
