Looks like Italy will be getting a theatrical release of Queen of the Desert after all.  According to Mondo Fox Italy:

“Il film, in uscita il prossimo settembre nelle sale italiane, è stato presentato al Festival di Berlino 2015.”

“The movie, due out this September in Italian cinemas, was presented at the Berlin Film Festival 2015.” (Bing translation).

Will keep an eye out for specific release dates and let you know as soon as we know.

According to IMDb Argentina will release “Life” on 1 September 2016.  That’s a long way away, but still at least it’s a release date.  Funny I’ve been looking for it at Argentinian cinemas since the Brazil date was announced, but most only show up until June.  Will keep you posted with screening times or date changes.

 

 

I love how Japan is still screening Life in cinemas.  I thought I would update in case some of you haven’t had a chance to see the film yet – in Japan I mean, although I know at least one of you who might consider flying over to watch a film *lookingatyouSue*.

Italia Film Middle East confirmed to me today that Queen of the Desert will be released in ALL of the Middle East, that is, Lebanon, Jordan, UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman and Iraq on 31 March 2016.  That’s brilliant news.  You should check out their trailer below.

 

I know that TAJ Cinemas Jordan and is still showing 7 April as is Grand Cinemas Lebanon, but they should update their schedules soon – so stay tuned!  The release date is definitely 31 March 2016.

We saw that Transmission posted an official trailer on their YouTube on Monday and now we know that the release date in Australia is 2 June 2016.  I will update as soon as I can whether this is an Australia wide or limited release.  But for now, pencil it in your diaries and don’t forget to watch the trailer below. New Zealand I’ll find out if it will be the same for you. Stay tuned.

UPDATED: 18 March 2016

Transmission confirmed to RPAU this morning that the 2 June release date is for Australia only at this stage.  New Zealand’s release date is still to be confirmed.  The Australian release will be “Australia wide”, but screens won’t be confirmed for a few more weeks.  We will keep you posted as soon as the information is to hand on both.
