Oh wait wrong story. Â I swear even a bad wig and dubbing can’t make Rob look bad and how much did he love not having to shave … The first two caps are probably my favourite and seriously he jokes about Job being the role he most covets – looking at these I can so see him in that role. Â Anyhoo I felt like seeing some Giselher today and so here’s a few screencaps – a few of which are my way as you can no doubt tell.
For the first time in a long time I’m not sure what to say – except a big thank you to all of you who visit us and spend time putting up with my occasional abuse – c’mon the word “ugly” and “Rob” should NEVER be used in the same sentence.  Today we celebrate 2 years online … where has the time gone – I love how I get sucked into the Rob vortex!  As some of you already know, I, of course, did not start the site, Michelle on the other hand has been here since day 1 and I’d say Vertigo was probably commenting since then too.  I was lucky enough to be asked to help post in February/March 2009 and Cilla gave Michelle and I the site in I think May 2009 (thanks to Cannes May 2009 is still a bit of a blur).  So here we are November 2010, still loving Rob and yeah well no plans to go anywhere whilst this man’s career flourishes – I mean just think of what’s in store for us in 2011 that we already know – Bel-Ami, Water For Elephants, Breaking Dawn and whatever other projects Rob will hopefully commit to soon *please Rob stop teasing*.  Just as importantly, we’ve met and made some amazing friends along the way not only through our affiliates, but also all of you who take time to visit.  I’m sure I can speak on behalf of Michelle and Vertigo when I say we are so looking forward to 2011 and beyond and hope you are all here to share that with us – otherwise it will  just be Michelle, Vertigo and myself posting and commenting because we really are not going anywhere.  Well enough from me – as probably expected and predictable as I have become, here’s my little tribute to Rob to celebrate not only our birthday but  his brilliant career so far because really that’s why we are here.
Here is the third & final part of Rob’s scenes as the gorgeous Price Giselher that Maria has put together for those who haven’t had the chance to see Rob in this role. Â I especially love the scene in this vid where Giselher & Lena are having their conversation by the fire. Â Lucky girl you are – very lucky. We hope you have all enjoyed spending this week with Giselher as much as we have. Â Stay tuned tomorrow for another Golden Years week. I think you might just be able to guess which of Rob’s brilliant characters we will be celebrating *smile* Cannot wait!
Here are just a few of my fave Rob as Giselher moments to help finish off our Golden Years Giselher week. Â How great has this week been – I’ve loved every minute!
Here’s the second vid that I have done for those who haven’t had the chance the see Rob as Prince Giselher. I’m pretty sure my actual fave scene is the first scene in this vid.  I love it when  Siegfried asks him if he has any talent and Giselher says  “I am a Prince – I’m not allowed to work” – um sorry but I see talent and Rob, you are definitely a Prince among men – that is for sure.  I have to say that although I know and Rob has said it many times that his voice is dubbed in this film, I can’t help but hear a little bit of whiney Art in this voice.
No – you are insane King – screaming at Rob like that – um I mean Prince Giselher. Â There are so many wonderful Rob moments in this scene because let’s face it – we all dream about finding a stowaway that looks like Rob – no? Â This wasn’t my original favourite scene to be honest, it’s the one where he helps Siegfriend make swords, but my software was being a pain and I gave up. Â Although I have now managed to include it in Part 2 or is it 3 of Prince Giselher. Â Anyway I Â love the part in this scene where he is star gazing – oh and the way he flicks his green robe over his shoulder at the end – did they really have to wear that much clothing – oops sorry Lise-Lou you are a bad influence! Â Anyway – hope you enjoy this scene as much as I do.
