I don’t know why I didn’t post this earlier today because I retweeted it, blame it on work, it seems to always get in the way. And as I said on Twitter, I’m taking this comment seriously because Cassian’s opinions have weight with me. Not that I’m saying Rob’s getting an oscar, because I don’t think that’s what he meant, but he did call it for both McConaughy and Leto for Dallas Buyers Club and I agreed with him 100% after seeing the film.
Just try reading this without grinning like, well – Rob in the current mood gif on the left there. Go on. :) Thank you so much for the updates @cassianelwes – keep them coming. I can’t wait to see this film….

My eyes did widen when I read this tweet from @TheFilmStage:
The link leads to H Films Production Company And Services which was created in 2008 by Hicham Hajji who as we know is one of the producers of Queen Of The Desert. Queen Of The Desert is listed under ‘Pre-production’ on their site:

As The Film Stage say, nothing concrete of course, but it’s great to see a release date mentioned. I cannot wait to see Rob as T.E Lawrence – absolutely cannot wait

Ooooh the score, I bet it will be beautiful. Cannot wait to hear it. My excitement for the film just keeps on growing & growing. Still twirling from Cassian’s tweet a couple of days back too – how great was that!!
All the info from Film Music Reporter:
Klaus Badelt is set to reunite with director Werner Herzog on the upcoming biographical drama Queen of the Desert. The film written and directed by Herzog stars Nicole Kidman as Gertrude Bell, the iconic explorer, writer, archeologist and attaché for the British Empire who helped to catalyze the formation of the Middle East at the dawn of the 20th century. Damian Lewis, Robert Pattinson and James Franco are co-starring. Nick Raslan is producing the Palmyra Films and Benaroya Pictures production with Cassian Elwes (Lee Daniels’ The Butler, The Paperboy) and Michael Benaroya (Lawless, The Words, Margin Call). Badelt has previously collaborated with Herzog on such films as Rescue Dawn, Invincible and the documentary Happy People: A Year in the Taiga. Queen of the Desert is expected to premiere later this year.
Badelt has also recently scored the French comedy Supercondriaque. The film is written and directed by Dany Boon who also stars in the film, which is set to open in France later this month. The composer recorded his score with the London Metropolitan Orchestra. His other upcoming projects also include the animated feature Wish directed by Cody Edwards (Hoodwinked!).
“expected to premiere later this year” that would be fantastic if true.
Thanks to Roberta for the link

I LOOOOVE this tweet from @cassianelwes. We absolutely CANNOT wait
