Thanks to our affiliate, SpunK Ransom, here’s a large version of the so-called ‘leaked’ Official New Moon poster. We will update you once it’s confirmed, but so far, I really like it. It’s interesting how they make Jacob stand between Edward & Bella. Protecting her from the ‘blood-sucker’, maybe?
These 5 pictures of Rob on the New Moon set are the same ones that we posted yesterday, but these ones are without the Lainey Gossip watermark (yay!) & are also a little bigger than the original ones.
These are not the best quality pictures and they’re from Lainey’s Gossip site (who we all know isn’t a huge Rob fan at all – and I’m putting this mildly). But they’re pictures of Rob at work, so I’m still happy to see them.
Rob talks to ‘The San Francisco Chronicle‘ about ‘New Moon’ and playing Salvador Dali. Here’s an excerpt on what he said about shooting ‘New Moon’ on the article:
“It’s strange because it already feels much more of a slick machine,” Pattinson says of the film, which is being directed by Chris Weitz. “The first one we had such a young cast. Everybody was friends. It was fun. There was nothing like what it is now. Now there are people waiting outside the hotels all the time. We have security. It’s crazy.”
His character, Edward, never ages, so he has to look like an undead teenager through the three sequels he’s contractually obligated to appear in.
“I think all of them will be done within a year and half,” he says. “The whole thing is about change and aging. So it would look ridiculous if I’m playing 17 when I look 35.”
Which is another way of saying that Pattinson is unconcerned about being locked into author Stephenie Meyer’s franchise in the same way that the Harry Potter cast has been in theirs. It won’t last that long.

Hah – now that I’ve got your attention, of course, she’s talking about Edward Cullen and NOT Rob. Amanda Bell from The Examiner seems hell bent on trying to figure out the “dark” dream sequence in New Moon that Rob mentioned during his ET Interview. It’s a very interesting theory and, possibly, she could be right since there were quite a few essential scenes in Twilight that were omitted from the movie. Could this be what Rob was talking about:
“I opened my eyes to a familiar place. Aware in some corner of my consciousness that I was dreaming, I recognized the green light of the forest. I could hear the waves crashing against the rocks somewhere nearby. And I knew that if I found the ocean, I’d be able to see the sun. I was trying to follow the sound, but then Jacob Black was there, tugging on my hand, pulling me back toward the blackest part of the forest. ‘Jacob? What’s wrong?’ I asked. His face was frightened as he yanked with all his strength against my resistance; I didn’t want to go into the dark.  ‘Run, Bella, you have to run!’ he whispered, terrified. ‘This way, Bella!’ I recognized Mike’s voice calling out of the gloomy part of the trees, but I couldn’t see him. ‘Why?’ I asked, still pulling against Jacob’s grasp, desperate now to find the sun …  And then Edward stepped out from the trees, his skin faintly glowing, his eyes black and dangerous. He held up one hand and beckoned me to come to him. The wolf growled at my feet.  I took a step forward, toward Edward. He smiled then, and his teeth were sharp, pointed. ‘Trust me,’ he purred. I took another step.”
Rob, I trust you – oh sorry I forgot it’s Eddie. Anyway if you would like to read the full article and the basis for Amanda’s theory, you can do so here.
