Here is a ‘behind-the-scenes’ clip from Little Ashes. This segment is entirely in Spanish Catalan, so if anyone can translate..we’d really appreciate it. The most interesting bit is probably watching Rob, clapping like there’s no tomorrow at the end of the clip. LOL.
The very talented HYBeccer over at Rob’s IMDb message board has made this amazing Little Ashes fan made trailer. I think the song ‘Iris’ by The Goo Goo Dolls is a great song choice. I really enjoyed watching this.
Thank you so much to HYBeccer for sharing her creation with us all. Makes me want to see the movie even more (if that is at all possible)
Matthew McNulty talks to ES magazine about his role in Little Ashes, his next movie with British director Ken Loach, his previous roles and his fiancee (his high school sweetheart and the mother of his two children). Can this guy be any more awesome? Sorry…when it comes to Matt, I must admit that I’m really biased. I really wish the best for him and hope that Little Ashes will bring him the attention he deserves.
Here’s what he said about Rob:
There’s something that draws you to Rob. He is really intelligent and he’s a charming chap as well. When the Twilight thing exploded I wasn’t surprised. Little Ashes will be seen by a lot more people now.’ Matthew and Robert are the only British actors in the Spanish cast. ‘Previously he was just that guy from Harry Potter [he played Cedric Diggory and was murdered by Ralph Fiennes in the fourth instalment]. The fact that he’s playing Dali will wash that off a bit and people will see him as a proper actor.’
Special thanks to Tracy and Tina for sending me the link.
PattinsonLife LJ Community just posted a link to the Apple Trailer website’s ‘Little Ashes’ page. I must say that I’ve been waiting for this for a long while. Basically, this just made my morning. Seeing the ‘Little Ashes’ Trailer in HD was breathtaking. The picture and the sound are so clear, you could almost imagine what seeing the movie in the cinema feels like.
I’m embarrassed to admit that I’ve watched this several times today, not just to see Robert…but Matthew and Javier as well. And of course the movie is gorgeous.
Please click here to go to the Apple site. I’ve been a Mac User for many years, and I must say that I’m really proud of them at the moment.
According toBoy Culture, Javier talked to Out Magazine(April Edition) about his role as Lorca in ‘Little Ashes’. Here’s what he said about shooting the love scenes with Rob in Little Ashes:
“We didn’t have any problems with the sexuality. On the set it was less important than the emotions. The sex scenes are beautiful—tragic and painful.”
The article also mentioned Rob’s other costar, Matthew McNulty, who played Luis Bunuel in the movie. Here’s what he had to say about meeting Robert.
“I’m worried about meeting him because he’s really good-looking.”
Having met Matthew before, my personal opinion is, he has absolutely nothing to be worried about.
This video took my breath away, literally. It is made by YouTube user, Any4vi. It’s so beautiful…and the person who made the video seem to know the subjects (Dali and Lorca) so well. I am blown away by this video.
Thanks again for the amazing Kate for the link to this video!! Kate, if you read this post, I’d like take my hat off to you for finding the best stuff on the internet. I don’t know how you do it!
