Unless you’ve been living under a rock you most probably saw the pics of Rob’s new haircut for W4E.  Well I’m not going to post them here for obvious reasons, but it has given me inspiration to do a montage of Rob’s different hairstyles over the last few years.  Oh cannot wait until they start filming this weekend and we hopefully don’t have to wait long to get a glimpse of Jacob Jankowski (thought I’d better define!)   Thanks to Campbell Mitchell for the gorgeous photo of Rob as Richard.

One of our lovely Twitter followers @Denalibcn requested a post or montage dedicated to Rob as Salvador Dali. Seeing as we have already posted a Rob as Dali montage, Denalibcn – here are some of my most faves & of course I had to include a gif. You all know how much we  adore Rob as Dali & this brilliant film & I know all who have seen the film here feel the same.  Just a reminder that Little Ashes is now available on DVD here in Australia so make sure you purchase your copy if you haven’t done so already.  My second copy is now on it’s way *big smile*.  Thanks to the lovely Paul Brennan for the gorgeous first, second & last pics.

*clears throat* Everyone who visits RPAU regularly (or lives here) understands how high the care factor and dedication of Michelle and Maria, so I’ll do my best not to hinder what they have created in anyway. It is through this site and their knowledge that I’ve learned how to respect Rob (bet the M&M’s didn’t know that part), appreciate the amazing journey that is his career and enjoy a bloody good Robfest with lovable peeps like yourselves.
So let’s get on with it, here are SOME of my fave Rob’s for your weekend viewing pleasure (Series one). There are obviously a few hundred or thousands missing and that’s not including the ones hijacked by my old laptop – which breaking into has now become a priority on my “to do” list. Oh TessANZ you better be sitting down when you read this post.   New Zealand’s annual queer film festival – Outtakes – is finally going to show Little Ashes in both Auckland and Wellington. 

Auckland screenings are at Rialto Cinemas Newmarket on Sunday 30 May at 6.10 pm and Monday 31 May at 8.30 pm. 

Wellington screening is at the Paramount cinema on Queen’s birthday Monday, 7 June at 8.30 pm.
