I’m guessing this is to coincide with the Télérama-AFCAE Festival 2016, but even if it’s not Cinéma CineMovida (Cholet) gives some of you the chance to see this film on the big screen.  There are 4 sessions – Wednesday 20 January at 10pm, Saturday 23 January at 6pm, Sunday 24 January at 3.50 pm and Monday 25 January 2016 at 2pm.you can click here to access tickets for each session by clicking on the relevant time.  Correct me if I’m wrong but Cholet is about 3.5 hrs from Paris?  Road trip.

There’s been a few interviews given by Dane DeHaan for Life promo, no doubt you’ve seen the comments on the internet that if it wasn’t for Rob the film would never have been made or something like that.  Anyway, here’s an excerpt from one with Huffington Post:

“What did you and Robert Pattinson do to create that bond James and Dennis shared? 

It’s an interesting bond because I don’t really look at them as friends. I look at them as two artists who were both struggling in different ways, because they work in different ways, and they come across each other and they influence each other as artists. So while a lot of people are calling it a friendship movie, I don’t really see the friendship part of it. It’s not like Rob and I weren’t friends, it’s just I felt like that was the relationship we had probably because of the film. We hung out a couple of times outside of set, but other than that, it would be show up on set and really get to know each other through the process of making the movie as two artists who go about things in two different ways. And I think in that way, you don’t have to “act” the relationship, you just allow it to happen on screen.

Hmm 31 December may not be a bookmark for Malaysia as Maria suggested.  Shaw Theatres has Life listed with a release date of yep, 31 December 2015.  Fingers crossed these dates stick for both. What better way to end 2015 🙂

I suddenly wish I was in Bath on December 9. For all the lucky people who can attend, Life will be screening at the 2015 Bath Film Festival on Wednesday December 9 2015 at 6.30pm.
