We posted here a couple of weeks ago that Ascot Elite was to distribute Robert Pattinson  “Good Time” in Germany, Switzerland, Austria & Beneluxa nd now ScreenDaily confirms:
Ascot Elite Entertainment Group has finalised rights to a string of high-profile independent titles for German-speaking Europe.
The company’s AFM haul includes all rights to a new documentary biopic about iconic musician Prince from US sales outfit 13 Films.
…
Meanwhile, Robert Pattinson (Twilight), Jennifer Jason Leigh (The Hateful Eight) and Oscar-winner Barkhad Abdi (Captain Phillips) star in upcoming crime-drama Good Time, about a bank robber who finds himself unable to evade those who are looking for him. Currently in post-production, the film is being lined up for a 2017 release.
Ascot Elite bought the US indie title from Memento Films. A24 has US rights.
…
Ascot Elite COO Stephan Giger commented on the acquisitions: “It was a very fruitful trip to California and I’m pleased to continue our relationship with Altitude on their three upcoming commercial projects and I’m equally happy to continue working with Memento Films, after La Sage Femme, this time with an English-speaking project with a great script and a killer promo. [My emphasis]
You had me at “great script and a killer promo” – excitement level through the roof.
According to Cinando, Ascot Elite Entertainment GMBH will have Theatrical, TV, DVD-video and VOD rights for Robert Pattinson “Good Time” in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Belgium, The Netherlands and Luxembourg.  I realise Cinando isn’t always accurate, but I’m going with this for now.

Le Cinema Club is currently screening Josh Safdie’s “We’re Going to the Zoo” and below is an extract from their interview mentioning Robert Pattinson “Good Time” and it’s pending release “some time in 2017”:
In the past ten years, [the Safdie Bros] have established themselves as two of the most interesting voices in new American cinema, developing a personal style that blends their love for New York City and its eclectic characters with a true passion for the art of cinema. They recently finished shooting Good Time, starring Robert Pattinson as a bank robber on the run, which will be released by A24 next year.
…
What kind of cinema were you interested in making back then? Has it evolved since?
I think as I’ve gotten older, this was shot 13 years ago, I’ve become harder. Lost some friends and family, been fucked over a few times, the recession of 2008/2009 was nightmarish and saw us directing some things I hope to never even have think about again… but these things hardened me and that has absolutely shown itself in what we’ve been making and the worlds we’ve been attracted to. I’ve always been obsessed with characters, so that hasn’t changed, but their worlds have.
What projects are you working on right now?
It’s a blessing to have something to get lost in at every waking moment. We’re working a lot and keeping sane somehow. We’re currently finishing ‘Good Time,’ this fugitive film charged by a warped perspective of brotherly love, which is going to be released sometime in 2017. …
If you get a chance to watch Joshua Safdie’s short do so, it’s available until 20 November 2016 (and yes Aussies can watch too).  Also, “Uncut Gems” sounds like something I would definitely watch – bring it.

IMDbPro has finally added Jennifer Jason Leigh to the cast list for Robert Pattinson “Good Time”.  This cast list seems to be changing weekly so I can’t wait to see what surprises await.

Hahaha I’m loving the announcements coming from Robert’s directors – Josh Safdie (aka Booger_Nose) clues us in on what’s happening with Good Time.
