It’s been way too long and Vertigo’s icon inspired me. No wonder Rob took on Idol’s Eye – still crying that we didn’t get the ‘stache.  Click on the pic below to watch the entire intro with Les Grossman.  Anybody need a light!

Hahahahaha, I was just thinking about these two clips this morning so thought we’d revisit. GOLD, just absolute GOLD!  Too too funny…
I’ve been re-watching the flame throwing treasure this week and wondering if there will be a day when we get our hands on a HD version *smiles sweetly*
Anyway, badass still makes me all kinds of happy and am looking forward to seeing this role in it’s entirety. What? A girl can still dream right …

and what would life be without Michelle’s gif? Empty, that’s what.
Well we are definitely counting down 2010 here in Oz. Â I know both Michelle and Vertigo have treats in store for you, so I thought I would kick off farewell to 2010 by doing what I always do and that is updating my 6 month review and looking back over Rob’s success for the entire year. Â Rob without a doubt has an incredible 2011 ahead of him. Â I heard the funniest thing the other day, that some Twilight fans think that if it wasn’t for Twilight we all wouldn’t know who Rob was. Â Well I beg to differ since if it wasn’t for Rob, I would still think that Twilight was the time of day just after sunset. Â I understand that the movies may have introduced him to a new fan base, but for us at RPAU and also a lot of our followers, Rob has ALWAYS been on our radar since Cedric. Â Personally, I think the Twihards should thank Hardwicke & Meyers for introducing them to someone who is actually going to be one of the greats of Hollywood – and not actually finding an “unknown” as they would like to believe. Â Let’s face it all they have to do is look towards 2011 and the evidence is already there – I mean even his indie film “Remember Me” was a fantastic success which is more than I can say for others. Â So for those of us who appreciate Rob the actor and not some saga, or the pathetic bickering that it involves, let’s look back on Rob’s greatness in 2010 and just revel in what Rob has in store for us in 2011. Â I’m pretty sure there will be loads of critics silenced.
PS. Â I’ve only put the last 3 in because imagine tomorrow when we can say – WFE and BA this year *gigglesuncontrollably*.
Sources on tagged pics and of course the wonderful QuantummFizzx for that amazing amazing pic from the LA Twi Conference and of course, RPSource, Linda and Setje from Pattinsonlife for all the HQ goodness throughout the year. Â I wish you all an absolutely amazing 2011 – I know Rob’s making mine unforgettable – so HAPPY NEW YEAR to all our affiliates, friends and followers who help us to enjoy the very special man – Happy New Year Rob.
For our final Golden Years post for this week celebrating Rob as Rawdy, Richard, Georges, Jacob & Bad Ass Cops, thought we would share just a few more faves. I have enjoyed spending time with these characters so much this week & just absolutely CANNOT WAIT until 2011 is here & we can meet Georges & Jacob on the big screen *sigh*  The closer it gets, the more excited I become!  Tomorrow of course marks the start of a brand new Golden Years week.  Who will it be – hehe all will be revealed tomorrow *smiles*
A mix of delights for you today, starting with Rob as Rawdy in Vanity Fair. Â I don’t have to repeat how the blind man was put in charge of editing, we all know this – yet when I catch that glimpse of Rob in this sadly misplaced footage, why is it his is the only performance I’m zoning in on. Â Bias? I don’t think so. Â Even back then you could feel a strong presence. Â *thumbs up* Umm btw, apologies for the teeny first 3 caps, this is what happens when you only have lost material to work with. Â Moving along … aaahhh Richard. Â How dare you steam up my screen when you appear for those 3 minutes of bliss. Â If what’s her name isn’t interested, feel free to walk this way. Â I mean it!
So what about something more recent? Â Who could forget Rob as himself while playing opposite Tom as Les Grosman. Â God we laughed so hard that day didn’t we … and if that wasn’t enough, they later broke out Badass Cops. Â Did somebody ask for a light? Â Well didn’t I just need one! Goodtimes all round and Rob proved once again that he is a master at comedy. Â It felt like we’d won the freakin lottery!
And now, we have so much to look forward to.  We’ve all read the books (most of us), we’ve all seen the snaps, we’ve all been patient and tried to stay alive in the process of the wait, hell some of us have undergone Boot-Ami camp to ensure survival.  There’s nothing left now but to unleash them to us on the BIG screen ….Georges will most probably break my heart and Jacob will mend it.
Bring me my time machine!
