For the first time ever, the Golden Tomato Awards will honor the people behind and involved with some of the year’s best movies and TV shows, and for our inaugural Golden Year Award, we’re giving it over to you, the fans, to tell us who in the movie and TV industry has had the best year. Basically: Who absolutely owned 2019? We chose the below 15 contenders based on their achievements over the last year, from big awards to zeitgeist-capturing moments to hugely successful projects – and in most cases, multiple hugely successful projects (we’re looking at you, Jon Favreau). Cast your vote below for the Golden Year award – you can vote once a day until voting closes.
Remember you can vote once a day for each category until voting closes at 11:59pm PT on Wednesday January 22, and the winners will be announced on Friday January 24.

Watch Twilight on the big screen with a live symphony orchestra
I did not know this was happening – Twilight will be screened with a live symphony orchestra at the Sydney Opera House on 8 September 2019 – billed as Twilight in Concert. From Sydney Opera House website:
