Warner Bros Launches Oscars Campaign ~ Robert Pattinson Best Supporting Actor #Tenet
Warner Bros has officially launched their Oscars “For Your Consideration” campaign for Tenet. Rob has been included for Best Supporting Actor along with Kenneth Branagh and Michael Caine.
The Oscars this year move from their traditional February date to 25 April 2021. Rob is now in consideration as best supporting actor for both Tenet and The Devil All the Time, although according to Variety’s Award Circuit – he is outside of the Top 25 in contention. Rob certainly has some competition with a lot of focus on both Mank and The Trial of the Chicago 7 from Netflix. Nominations will be announced on 15 March 2021. It will definitely be interesting to see how this plays out.
17 October 2020: Netflix’s For Your Consideration website is now “live” and includes The Devil All the Time as a contender for awards season in 2021. Fingers crossed the movie and cast receive some recognition. We will follow this closely and keep you updated on what transpires.
Updated: 4 December 2020: Netflix FYC updated their page and now include Robert Pattinson in “Best Supporting Actor” Category for The Devil All the Time as part of their awards campaign.
