Robert Pattinson “The Most Handsome Man in the World

I don’t usually post Daily Mail articles, but this made me laugh. Plus – we all didn’t need a medical degree or use the Golden Ratio of Beauty Phi devised in Ancient Greece to know that Rob’s stunning and perfect. From Femail:

The British Batman actor, 33, was found to be 92.15 per cent ‘accurate’ to the Golden Ratio of Beauty Phi, which is said to measure physical perfection.

His eyes, eyebrows, nose, lips, chin, jaw and facial shape were measured against other celebrities and came closest to the ancient Greeks’ idea of perfection.

The list was compiled using the latest computerised mapping techniques by Harley Street facial cosmetic surgeon Dr Julian De Silva, who utilises the technology in his work. 

Dr De Silva, who runs the Centre For Advanced Facial Cosmetic And Plastic Surgery, in London, said: ‘Robert Pattinson was the clear winner when all elements of the face were measured for physical perfection.

‘These brand new computer mapping techniques allow us to solve some of the mysteries of what it is that makes someone physically beautiful and the technology is useful when planning patients’ surgery.’ 

Rob accepts his award for British/Irish Actor of the Year from London Critics for his work in “High Life”, “The Lighthouse”, and “The King”. Congrats to Rob on the well deserved recognition! Thank you to Matthew Turner (@FilmFan1971) for sharing his video.

Wishing everyone a Happy New Year

Happy New Year everyone. What an amazing decade it’s been for Rob and his fans. We knew when we started blogging back in 2008 that we would in for an amazing journey following Rob’s career, but we have to be honest, we don’t think we ever thought we would be supporting Rob as The Batman. That’s what we love about him – he challenges himself (and us) and has proved you can achieve whatever you desire through hard work and resilience. Rob may have been overlooked, yet again, during awards season, but reading the amount of recognition he has received from non-fandom people is exhilarating. We can only imagine how many new fans he will win from his upcoming films.

Thank you all for supporting RPAU celebrating Rob’s career whether you follow us via this fansite, Twitter or Instagram. We are gearing up to probably one of the most exciting years of Rob’s career. We are all looking forward to his filming of The Batman and the releases of Tenet, The Devil All the Time and Waiting for the Barbarians. Vertigo and I are personally looking forward to witnessing Ephraim Winslow later this month (it’s been a long time coming). We can’t wait to see what new surprises Rob has for us in the following years and share them with you all.

Robert Pattinson finally recognised and included as a new BAFTA member

From Variety:

Robert Pattinson, Alicia Vikander, Sam Rockwell, Melissa McCarthy, Joanne Froggatt, Himesh Patel and Nicholas Hoult are among the record-setting 559 new members joining BAFTA in 2019, Variety can reveal.

The new members are drawn from a mix of individuals applying directly and those who were invited. In both cases they have to pass strict vetting and fulfill eligibility criteria.

Applications for membership are received first before BAFTA adds people to be invited. That allows the organization to try to ensure a wide spread of people inducted into the British Academy.
