In light of my recent absence from being online, I really struggled with pin pointing a favourite scene to celebrate Rob’s portrayal as Edward in Breaking Dawn.  As most here agree, Rob was the only actor that could bring life to this character and without him to drive this thing home, I’d probably still believe that twilight is something to look forward to in old age.

I have compiled a tiny segment, but you might catch my fave scene in the first few seconds. Click to watch.

This was tricky, because honestly every moment between father and daughter was a beautiful thing, I also loved seeing the Edward montage in the final scene but in the end I went for that very touching moment between Edward and Carlisle. They have always had a strong relationship (on the whole) but I guess following Edward’s journey in the books and knowing the struggles he’s faced accepting his place in the world makes this moment here, showing his gratitude to Carlisle, so special and I think it’s just perfect. A really heartfelt moment between ‘father and son’, it’s a beautiful thing – just like Edward. I hope you enjoy as much as I do.

Thanks again Maria; love what you did!! 😀

From the beginning when we had glimpses of Edward’s past in Twilight, like the photos above, I wanted someone to give us a little bit more.  I’m glad that they didn’t cut Edward’s backstory out of BD1.  I’ve only included the cinema part because I thought it was cheeky to have Edward sitting in a cinema watching a horror film – I can totally imagine Edward watching these films as a form of self flagellation.  It was only short, but I’m glad it was there nonetheless.

It was rare to get a solo pic of Edward and sometimes I had to make do to the chagrin of others, but occasionally we were blessed.
