As you can all see, my Golden Years choice for Remember Me is one that features Tyler & Caroline. This scene is so sweet & I especially love Tyler’s ‘abso-freakin-lutely’ response to Caroline followed by her big smile. They have such a close relationship & this scene is one of many that illustrates just how strong a bond they share. To say I adore these two together doesn’t even come close. Their scenes in the film were some of my most faves. From the moment we saw Rob & Ruby together on set I just knew their scenes would be something so very special & that they were & more. As I have said many times before, there are no words to describe how much I LOVE & ADORE Rob’s breathtakingly brilliant performance as Tyler. Tyler not only made a huge impact on those he was close to in his life, but he also made a huge impact on us the viewer & all that is thanks to Rob’s superb portrayal of this character. We fall in love with him throughout the film & feel his loss so deeply at film’s end. My praise for Rob & this film really could go on forever but I will leave it there – for now! Enjoy this scene everyone & the couple of gifs above. I couldn’t resist including them.

So many amazing moments in Remember Me, infact EVERY scene with Rob as Tyler is mind blowing brilliance … as I know we all agree.
Today I’ve decided to share one of the many highlights where Rob’s acting chops prove a diverse range beyond expectations and gave us a chance to delve deeper with Tyler, while blessing us with further insight to his connection with the gorgeous Caroline. This brought me giggles of delight and I’m pretty sure I’ve never wanted to jump through a cinema screen more than I did when he mocked Mademoiselle Fleischman. Kick back and enjoy the wonder that is Tyler.

Well we’ve decided to focus on Remember Me for Week 2 of Golden Years.  I doubt there is really anything I can say that you don’t all think about Rob’s role in this film.  Personally I believe it convinced more people that only knew him as Edward that Rob really is here to stay – I know that my  friends who saw the film were blown away by Rob’s performance and were happy to admit that.  Anyway that’s enough chatter from me, so here’s  Tyler Hawkins.   Hope you enjoy this little something from Michelle, Vertigo and myself.

To conclude our The Haunted Airman leg of our Golden Years series, I thought I would share some gifs with you all of just a few of my fave Toby moments in the film.   We hope you have enjoyed the first week as much as we have. We have loved every minute of it.  Stay tuned, more Golden Years goodness to come tomorrow.  Hmm which role will be next?? Sorry cannot tell you. Hehe I’m mean I know.

I have to agree with Vertigo & Michelle – Rob’s performance as Toby Jugg just had me spellbound.  I still remember when I came across this whilst searching for, believe it or not, James McAvoy in Shameless quite some years ago. Rob’s performance made me realise that Rob really was something special and that the world was yet to understand this talent. After that there really was no turning back for me.  Sorry James, but I had to leave you by the wayside.  This scene is probably my favourite of the entire film (and it’s not because he’s declaring his love for an older woman – oh okay Freud may have something different to say about that).  Anyhoo – here’s my choice – I could go on and on but it’s already been said and we wouldn’t want me to be abused about “waxing lyrical” about Rob again – you still out there Kat???  I hope you are enjoying our Haunted Airman week – there’s loads more treats in store over the next few weeks as we share some of our favourite Rob moments – so I guess I’d like to take this opportunity to thank the person who made this possible – Rob you are one in a billion and we love that you keep us entertained!

What would a Rob character celebration be without a montage!  Careful when zooming in, I’m talking some serious mouth action going on.

The majority of these are screencaps I made for you guys.  The additional pics have been previously sourced here and credited as per tagging.
