Hahaha – well it’s not so late night, but I’m doing this a little earlier because I’ve decided to post my Sex Bomb vid that I was working on yesterday.  You know how much I love Rob during October 2008 – so what started off as a tribute to Rome Rob HAD to include Mexico, Hollywood Awards and Sex Drive.  So in case some of you have trouble catching some zzzz’s after watching this – I decided not to be so “evil” as to post too late!  Hope you enjoy – I know I loved making it.

I know I’m evil ….

I started making this vid on Sunday because whenever I hear this Adam Lambert song – I always think of Rob.  Rob is so accommodating to his fans and we’ve heard him many times saying he’s not sure what he’s supposed to do and whether it’s enough.  It’s enough Rob – actually it’s more than enough.  I can’t ever remember anyone with the level of fame Rob has worrying so much about his fans.  Anyway here it is – hope you enjoy. Oh and it’s a little freaky to me that I chose this song and I saw last  night that Adam Lambert is appearing on the same episode of Ellen with Rob tomorrow – it’s weird right.

I’ve always wanted to make a video, it’s something I’ve been meaning to try for about the last 12 months easily, so when I thought of how I wanted to acknowledge Rob’s birthday – it was simple – why not make a vid celebrating what Rob’s achieved since his birthday last year.  I think I also have a new found respect for David Slade – honestly I probably spent over 15 hours making this short vid and although Vertigo and Michelle may deny it – there may have been some drunk tweets involved!   Anyhow – here’s my first attempt – I know Rob doesn’t want the level of fame Lady Gaga sings about, but I love this song and now it will be forever etched into my brain with visions of Rob!  I hope you enjoy it, but more importantly – Rob, Happy 24th Birthday hun because “your birth is definitely something to celebrate!”  Thanks again Claire and Richard.  Oh and “Warning” may or may not contain some Details footage – hahaha.

OK so I go to gym this morning and what does the instructor decide to play for the tricep track in Pump – yep Faster Kill Pussycat.  It’s bad enough that I haven’t done a pump class for 4 weeks and know I’m going to be in a world of pain tomorrow, but then I have to have the images of Rob from this vid in my head as I’m trying to concentrate on what I’m supposed to be doing.   Futile, just futile.   I know I’ve posted this vid twice before – the first time on 23 Jun last year when I first saw it and the second time when the sad news about Brittany Murphy came to light.  So I’m going to for third time lucky and just posting this because it’s so damn good and I have to try and get the song and images out of my head – hell what am I saying like it’s even possible.  Again, thanks to Trixiefrag for this vid – I just love this song and of course adore the subject matter!

Kristoff from LOVEFiLM sent us in this  fun little video today, so we thought we would share with you all tonight just in time for Easter tomorrow.  Food artist Prudence Staite created for LOVEFilm, an 18kg (wow) solid Belgium chocolate sculpture of Rob’s head based on his character in the Twilight Saga, Edward Cullen.  The video shows the process Prudence went through in making the sculpture & to watch, all you need to do is click on the pic above.  As you will see, LOVEFiLM are running a competition for one lucky person to win the sculpture, but understandably so it is only available to residents of the UK.  Thanks so much Kristoff for sending this great video into us.  We really appreciate it.

Here we have Rob’s segment on the ‘Hope For Haiti’ telethon.  He did such a beautiful job supporting this wonderful cause as we all knew he would. If a better quality video becomes available we will of course post.

and here’s the transcript from Rob’s speech:

“Underneath a flattened university, Maxine Fallon waited. She was crouched in a fetal position and could barely move. In the darkness and during the hectic sounds of the day, through the pain, the hunger and thrist, she prayed that someone would find her. And on the sixth day her prayers were answered, she was found because of a text message from the rubble sent rescuers to her side. Unlike any other event in history, our world has been connected to this tragedy because of technology. Twitter updates, Facebook pages with pictures of the missing and text messages for help. This technology is working right now to connect us, too. At hopeforhaitinow.org, you can donate and you can instantly interact with people in Haiti and anywhere in the globe. Join with those watching and see what they’re saying about something we all care deeply about — helping the Haitian people get back on their feet. Please go to hopeforhaitinow.org. Thank you”
