Wow we’ve had so much Jacob this weekend *clapshandswithglee* I thought I might just get us in the mood for Rob on the red carpet tomorrow – yeah I made this vid last year, but who had time this weekend to make an updated version – not me. Â How excitement – not sure if I’m going to be able to sleep tonite *giggles*.
I am so cheating with this, but let’s face it – I’ve already admitted numerous times today that I play dirty and I couldn’t decide which pic I wanted as my late night post challenge, so the post title should give you a hint on what I’m doing …
For the first time in a long time I’m not sure what to say – except a big thank you to all of you who visit us and spend time putting up with my occasional abuse – c’mon the word “ugly” and “Rob” should NEVER be used in the same sentence.  Today we celebrate 2 years online … where has the time gone – I love how I get sucked into the Rob vortex!  As some of you already know, I, of course, did not start the site, Michelle on the other hand has been here since day 1 and I’d say Vertigo was probably commenting since then too.  I was lucky enough to be asked to help post in February/March 2009 and Cilla gave Michelle and I the site in I think May 2009 (thanks to Cannes May 2009 is still a bit of a blur).  So here we are November 2010, still loving Rob and yeah well no plans to go anywhere whilst this man’s career flourishes – I mean just think of what’s in store for us in 2011 that we already know – Bel-Ami, Water For Elephants, Breaking Dawn and whatever other projects Rob will hopefully commit to soon *please Rob stop teasing*.  Just as importantly, we’ve met and made some amazing friends along the way not only through our affiliates, but also all of you who take time to visit.  I’m sure I can speak on behalf of Michelle and Vertigo when I say we are so looking forward to 2011 and beyond and hope you are all here to share that with us – otherwise it will  just be Michelle, Vertigo and myself posting and commenting because we really are not going anywhere.  Well enough from me – as probably expected and predictable as I have become, here’s my little tribute to Rob to celebrate not only our birthday but  his brilliant career so far because really that’s why we are here.
“They say it’s your birthday, lalalalala, you’re gonna have  a good time” …..  HAPPY BIRTHDAY MICHELLE!  I wasn’t sure what I was going to do for your birthday and then inspiration struck on Wednesday night hence why I’ve been saying “oh I’m just doing something, will be around, but um yeah”.  Anyway – here’s a little something from myself, Vertigo and of course Rob.  I hope you have an absolutely awesome day.  Oh yeah and Vertigo wanted me to say “Have a blast Michelle!  I’ll try not to be late to your party. xoxox”.  Me neither!  See ya soon.
I had a little bit of fun making this quick tribute to Rob as Edward Cullen. Â I know I know there a few actual pics of Rob as Rob in it, but it’s during the promotion of the Twilight series – so I justified it by telling myself it was Rob promoting Edward Cullen. Â And before anyone points it out – I know it’s Rome and not Milan, but it’s close enough. Â This song never fails to put a smile on my face and now – well it will always remind me of Rob. Â Hope you enjoy – it’s helping us draw a close to Edward Cullen week – hmmm – I think we shall somehow have to do this again. Â Oh and I should state “No Edward Cullen was harmed during the making of this vid” *winks*.
What can I say about Edward Cullen.  Who isn’t holding their breath when Rob walks into the cafeteria in this movie – no seriously – I still swoon no matter how many times I’ve seen  it (and no I’m not going to admit how many times I’ve watched it okay).  We decided that we would focus one week on Rob’s portrayal of Edward Cullen rather than a week on each Twilight Saga movie.  For most, this character was their introduction to Rob, for others it was the end of a long and patient wait for Rob’s return to the big screen *raiseshand*.  Our regular followers will know that I, for one, am looking forward to the day that Rob can tick “complete” to this saga.  It has been both a blessing and a curse.  Whilst it has given Rob opportunities and opened doors that he probably only dreamed of, it has also put Rob in the spotlight and under the microscope and two years down the track it doesn’t appear to be relenting.  That’s all I’m going to say about that.  What I am going to say though is there really isn’t anyone else that could have portrayed Edward so successfully and to the 75,000 MORONS!!! that signed the stupid petition to try and stop Rob from being Edward  – I hope you get really tired waiting in line to catch a glimpse of him at the premieres (I call that sweet justice!)    I am also going to say this – and I can’t believe you will be able to screencap and remind me of it later – after pretty much writing off Catherine Hardwicke’s interpretation of this book, and now  having seen New Moon and Eclipse – I think Summit made a mistake by changing directors – there is something so surreal and dreamlike about this movie that you can’t help but be drawn in.  I was disappointed with New Moon and believe me you don’t really want to know what I thought of Eclipse.  Hahaha – but if you do let me know because I think there’s a draft review somewhere that Vertigo and Michelle found very entertaining.  Plus and this isn’t really Rob’s or anyone’s fault, he is so boyish in this film compared to the latter two –  it’s going to be really hard for me to sit in a theatre look at the man Rob has become and see him as a 17 year old boy – I cringe to think how I’m going to believe that whilst sitting through BD.  No seriously.   Anyway nuf said about that –  here’s my segueway to this clip of some of my favourite lines from our introduction to Edward Cullen  … I’m sure some of you will be thinking  “you really shouldn’t have said that” ….
