Thanks to MTV.com, here we have the official video for Death Cab For Cutie’s song ‘Meet Me On The Equinox’ which is featured on the New Moon Soundtrack.  This video does feature some footage from the film & more importantly some Eddie footage. We have seen some of this footage before but there are a couple of little snippets that are most definitely new & believe me, they are so so great.  We thought we would put the video behind the cut so those who do not wish to be spoilt won’t have to resist the temptation to watch. I would like to say I had the strength to resist but when it comes to Rob I am very weak lol.  Absolutely cannot wait for New Moon even more now after seeing these little snippets.  Gonna be so amazing.  Unfortunately the official MTV clip will not play for us here in Australia but we do have the youtube version thanks to Youtube user TWlLlGHTSAGA.

Oh Keti you have no idea what you unleashed.  Rob smoking is bad for our health!  How great is Michelle’s montage.  So here are a few of my favourites and more importantly this amazing gif by imaginazyon.  Well you know how we seem to love to stick with themes of late and so today is definitely Smoking Rob.  Enjoy everyone because how could you not!

Here we have a wonderful video made by our very dear friend Cilla. Our long time members of the site will remember that Cilla is the creator of Robert Pattinson Australia & has shared with us on many occasions her fantastic videos. The video we are sharing with you all this evening is dedicated to one of our most favourites – Rob’s time in Japan. Cilla says ‘I love how happy he seemed when he was in Japan so I decided that this should be the theme of my next video’ So so very true Cilla – I just love the videos & pictures from Rob’s time in Japan. So many smiles, how I love to see him smile. Cannot put into words how truly happy it makes me feel when I see Rob happy, smiling & laughing – is just the best. Just wanted to say Cilla – thank you so much for your lovely message with this video. It is truly an absolute pleasure & anytime. I love the Coldplay song choice too – is great. Another fantastic video Cilla -I love it. Thank you so much for sharing it with us all.

Here is my 12 step program for those of us addicted to Robert Pattinson because I’m sure most of us are happy to remain that way:

rob-thumb
Step1 : We admit that we are powerless over the need to see Rob on a daily basis and that our lives had become unmanageable.

rob-profile-closeup

Step 2:  Came to believe that a power greater than ourselves – um that would be Rob – could restore us to sanity.

Step 3: Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to Rob.

unknown

Step 4: Made a searching of the internet to find every bit of information or picture of Rob possibly available.

Step 5: Admitted to ourselves and to other human beings, especially on RPAU site,  the exact nature of our addiction (albeit sometimes with a little “too much information”).

Step 6: Were entirely ready to remove all these defects and by this I mean the watermarks on some of his photos, since Rob is perfect (well he’s not but that’s what we love about him).

Step 7: Humbly asked Rob to accept our shortcomings (not that we have any, but just in case).

Step 8: Made a list of all persons we had harmed & became willing to make amends to them all  ie. our friends and family who didn’t see us for days on end while Rob was filming Remember Me.

Step 9: Made direct amends to such people wherever possible, of course until Rob turned up at Comic-Con and Teen Choice Awards, then its back to making that list again.

Step 10: Continued to take personal inventory and when we were wrong promptly admitted it – ah yes, that’s right – it’s Rob at Collectormania in 2006 not Comic-Con – lol.

Step 11: Sought through prayer & meditation to improve our conscious contact with Rob, praying only for knowledge of his whereabouts while filming Eclipse or maybe some more outtakes.

Step 12: Having had a spiritual awakening as the result of these steps, we carry this message to Robaholics, and to practice these principles in all our affairs.

Okay anyone willing to be my sponsor?

Cilla had promised me a vid ages ago and I think I asked her to use one of my favourite Coldplay songs “The Scientist”.   She thought the song was too sad, but I guess she was recently inspired by some of the photos from Remember Me.   Well it was either The Scientist or Politik, that’s how I recall it.   Cilla says “Rob is probably one of the fastest rising star of 2009 but being famous has many drawbacks. It wasn’t meant to be easy. The song I used is ‘The Scientist’ by Coldplay. Maria, this video is dedicated to you. Rob is lucky to have you as a fan.”   Thanks Cilla you know how I feel about this vid and well, Rob is lucky to have a lot of us as fans – you especially!  For those new to the site, Cilla started Robert Pattinson Australia and if it wasn’t for Cilla – well we wouldn’t have this wonderful place to meet and Michelle and I would be explaining to our friends/family why we spend hours every day/night searching and googling for Rob news, photos – well almost anything.  Well they still ask it, but you see the site makes it look legit!  And Michelle – what the hell would we be doing????   Okay I’ve ranted enough – enjoy the vid and Vertigo I know you will be so so happy to see Cilla back in action.

I thought I might post this great vid that Cilla made in October last year of her favourite pics of Rob and of course one of her favourite Coldplay songs (if she can narrow down a favourite – lol), Viva La Vida.   This is one of my faves too – the song I mean, because there’s no real need for me to say how much I love seeing Rob.   Thanks Cilla – miss your vids!  I think you still owe me one.
