Woo hooo, big congratulations to Carmel who as we know, is one of the three winners of a double pass to see WFE at The Ritz Cinema. Â So excited for you Carmel *grins* Â You get to see Rob as Jacob on the big screen once again *happy dance* Â If the two other winners could confirm to us that they were notified that would be great. Â Congrats everyone & enjoy Jacob. Â I cannot wait to see him again tomorrow!
Will sticky post this for a few days – scroll down to see new posts
Do you live in Sydney? Â Are you dying to see Water for Elephants for the first time or possibly fifth in a theatre that will transport you back to that time?
I know we’ve  already seen it twice.  Yes Michelle, Vertigo, Lise-Lou & myself needed to see it again and were lucky enough to attend one of the RITZ’s special screenings on Saturday.  For those who are yet to experience Jacob Jankowski, all I will say is Rob was born to play this role.
The Ritz Cinema, Randwick has always been supportive of Rob’s movies and as most of our regular followers know, gave RPAU the opportunity to hold the first screening of Little Ashes in Australia.  Some of our followers have previously won tickets to see Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse & Remember Me at the Ritz.  Now they are giving 3 lucky RPAU followers the chance to win a double pass to see Water for Elephants.
For your chance to win one of 3 double passes, please email functions@ritzcinema.com.au with the subject line: Â FAN SITE Competition for WFE tickets. Â The Ritz will choose the winners and let us know who they are. Â We will post the names of the 3 lucky winners on Friday 13 May 2011 to help celebrate Rob’s birthday.
So what are you waiting for!
Please note the following conditions apply:
– Â Winning tickets will only be valid for the RITZ Â for the season of the film
– Â Tickets not valid for Saturday evening after 6pm
– Â Tickets are not transferrable for another movie showing at the RITZ
The Ritz Cinema is located at 45 St. Pauls Street, Randwick (tel: Â 02 9399 5722).
Good luck everyone!
PS. Â Just check out the back corner because you’ll probably see me sitting there LOL.
*drum roll* Donna – who not only correctly answered our question of “what was the original Australian release date for Water for Elephants†(June 9th), but was also the 25th person to answer the question correctly. 25 being the number that we chose as the lucky one! Congrats Donna *throws streamers* If you could please send us an email at robertpattinsonau@hotmail.com to claim your prize. Thanks so much to everyone that entered – we had so much fun running this comp.
*taps on screen* You read correctly – We are giving away a ticket to the
AUSTRALIAN PREMIERE of Water for Elephants! To be held at the State Theatre in Sydney on the 6th May 2011.
I know, how cool is that.
This movie has an M rating and to be eligible to enter, you must be over the age of 12 and capable of making your own way to and from the premiere. Please note: if you are between the age of 12 to 16, you will need parental permission to enter.
This prize is a ticket entry only to what may just be the best movie experience of your life – oh and did we say you get to walk the red carpet – why yes yes you do (but don’t expect to do it with Rob – that cannot be guaranteed).
Ok so here’s how it works. Â We are asking a simple question and we have chosen a number … lets say the number is 85 for example – then the 85th person to get the answer correct wins a seat at the Aussie Premiere.
If you’d like to have a go, tell us in the comments section here:
“what was the original Australian release date for Water for Elephants”. Â Clue? Â It was the first date Michelle had us counting down from in the side bar.
Goodluck!
PLEASE NOTE: Â Australian residents only. Â One entry per person – multiple entries will be deleted from same email addresses. Â Also, the prize is the ticket only – if you are interstate airfare and accommodation will be at your own expense.
