What started out as a slow week heading towards Christmas seemed to pick up steam in the last 2 days.  Nothing earth shattering like a new film role, but some older pics of Rob seemed to surface that we hadn’t seen.   It also appeared to be tease Robert Pattinson fans week – Joel Edgerton with LIFE and then Werner Herzog with Queen of the Desert.  It’s looking more and more like LIFE will be released around the 60th anniversary of James Dean’s death in September.  QoTD though?  I could guess and say Werner is being cagey about it because he doesn’t know whether it will be selected for Cannes.  Perhaps we will get both LIFE and QoTD at Cannes again.  Okay I’m just thinking out loud here – Viva la Rob.  Vertigo spoilt us with a flashback to Rob on Ellen as her “E” choice.  Ellen always manages to bring out cheeky Rob.  Michelle made it impossible for us to choose for January 2015’s 12 Months of Rob.  IMPOSSIBLE.  Jules spoilt us again with an incredible banner helping us celebrate Rob’s fantastic achievement of being nominated for Best Supporting Actor at the AACTAs.  I know some think these are new awards, but they’re not.  They’ve been around since 1958, but in 2011 they were renamed from what was previously known as the “AFI Awards”.  They really are Australia’s own Oscars.  And ending off the week with the beginning of our 12 Days to Christmas.  Jules has been working hard behind the scenes for this so let me just thank her again for all she does as part of the RPAU team.  I don’t think we can say it enough.  I know how much time and effort goes into creating anything.  Until next week …
