“Don’t hate me ’cause I’m beautiful”. How poignant was this scene and Rob’s portrayal in yet another underrated role. I loved this film.

Watching that scene makes my heart melt. Rob gave an absolutely brilliant performance in the role of Rey. It’s been way too long since I’ve popped The Rover into my DVD player (LOL that sounds so ancient!) – must do it again soon. Thanks for the memory and the reminder, Maria x

I loved this movie too and I love David Michod! He seems like such a cool guy. Guy was perfect (I had seen him in Hateship Loveship on Hulu recently before that). I liked the ego less good vibe all around interaction of these three in promo interviews. This was my second Indie movie of Rob’s after Cosmopolis. Saw it in Jan, so have been hooked on Rob for at least 6 months, LOL.

David is a honey PM – he always has time to chat and his eyeys always light up when we talk Rob – they just respect each other so much.
