Weekly roundup of all career news for Robert Pattinson
It’s been a busy week —> GOOD TIME:  Hong Kong has added the film to their Summer Cinema Film Festival as has Sarajevo. Australia has pushed back their release date to 12 October 2017. Promotion in North America has well and truly kicked off with Robert first appearing on the Howard Stern radio show. We also saw glimpses of him at the members screening at the Museum of Moving Images at Astoria, Queens, a bit more on the following day at the Film Comment Q&A at the Walter Reade Theatre in Manhattan and again in Montreal for the North American premiere at Fantasia Film Festival. Posh shared some fabulous HQs. Michelle Miller teased us with a photo and an interview coming up on CBS Sunday Morning as did a few others. I bet Robert’s feeling like he’s back promoting Twilight with all the appearances he’s doing in such a short space of time and the amount of times he’s asked about it. Another day another Q&A for Robert – this time a members only SAG-AFTRA screening in LA and one in San Francisco for Filmmaker Forum. Robert will be appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live next week – that’s usually a treat. So many interviews so little time which is why to make it easy for you to appreciate all the North American promo I’ve created a Masterpost. THE LOST CITY OF Z: Another BTS photo thanks to Kodak and Total Film DVD Review thanks to Posh. IN OTHER NEWS:  Robert is reported to be a presenter at the HFPA Annual Grants Banquet – 2 August is going to be a busy day. Boston International Film Festival will have two screenings with the Safdie Bros attending one I believe. They are definitely attending the members screening on Wednesday at Cinefamily in LA. Love Robert’s “Fast and Curious” responses. Who knew we had Freddie Mercury, Brando, Scorcese and 70’s films in common. Danielle Levitt also spoilt us a lot this week. Also, what were you filming in NY Robert – oh so intrigued. COMING UP NEXT WEEK:  Busy busy times for Robert. The North American promo continues with Robert attending a Q&A in San Francisco on Tuesday, another Q&A at Arclight Hollywood on Wednesday plus presenting at the HFPA Banquet Dinner. Thursday sees Robert at the SAG-AFTRS members screening Q&A plus lead guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live.  The Lost City of Z will be released in Chile (in theatres), Norway (on DVD) and you can still catch it at New Zealand International Film Festivals.  Catch Good Time at New Zealand Film Festival, Melbourne International Film Festival and Locarno Film Festival.  So much happened this week that I’ve probably missed something, but we’ve got another busy week ahead. See you next Sunday.
