Not that we need any more proof, but I just wanted another reason to post a pic of Rob and Charlie.  IMDbPro has been pretty quick in updating with a 2016 release.  I guess they’re as excited as moi.

Oh and The Childhood of A Leader is now officially listed as “Filming” as at 3 February 2015.  You’ll see that Lost City of Z is the only upcoming film for Rob this year at this stage.  Nothing more on Hold On To Me since it’s still listed as “Development Unknown”.  Idol’s Eye feels like it was a dream or more like a tease and no reference to a Harmony Korine film.  Although some of you might still be holding out hope since Benecio Del Toro and Jamie Foxx are the only cast listed.  Anyway I have a gut feeling we will be hearing about something very soon …

Update 6 February 2015:

Life now had it’s production status changed to “released” and it’s moved out of films in production to past films

I have not seen any episodes of Sons of Anarchy, but I heard he is a good up and coming actor. So even though it’s a shame BC had to pull out, it sounds like they picked a good replacement.

@Julie Charlie’s not up and coming. He’s been around for a long time. He used to be on the TV Show “Queer as Folk”. A really good film of his is called Green Street Hooligans (2005). He was in Dead Fall with Eric Bana – it was a badly edited film. Pacific Rim with Director Guillermo Del Toro who loved him so much he cast him in his next film Crimson Peak (coming out in Oct from memory). He was in Alfonso Cuaron’s Children of Men and just before he was cast in Lost City he was cast in Guy Ritchie’s King Arthur film. So not so much up and coming, but similar to Rob in being careful with who he works. He’s also been writing his own screenplay Vlad for years. Oh and did I mention he’s English. Does he sound like someone else we know. Oh who knew I had so much time to focus on someone else other than Rob lol.

Oh, I think Maria means “….time to focus on someone other than Rob AND DAVID”, don’t you @Maria? Haha. To be fair, it’s not hard to want to focus on Charlie occassionally…….

Kind of off topic, but I was watching Pretty in Pink last night. I couldn’t help but think that Andrew McCarthy and James Spader are two more actors I would love Rob to work with. Showing my age now, I know …….not sure Andrew even acts any more, but I absolutely LOVE everything that James Spader does ….,.,
