STICKY POST: SCROLL DOWN FOR UPDATES
It feels like yesterday that I was asked to be involved with Robert Pattinson Australia and I’m not sure where the past 6 years have gone, but I’m forever grateful that I was asked to be a part of it initially and eventually taking over the site with Michelle. We have definitely experienced some incredible memories promoting Rob culminating with the epicness of the Australian premiere of The Rover.  And in keeping with our ethos of posting only about Rob’s career, what better way to celebrate than to give one of you, our followers, a little bit of history from one of Rob’s movies and favourite film festival – CANNES.
Yes you read right. Porchlight Films has given us an incredible incredible memory from Cannes for The Rover.  This is one of about 3 French posters produced for Cannes to be displayed during the film festival. Hope you have a huge wall to display it because its size is 160cm x 117cm (that’s about 62 x 46 in)

How awesome! Huge CONGRATS to all the lovely RPAU Ladies. Thank you all for sharing your talents, your time and your incredible Rob affection with us. I’ve said it many times, but I’ll say it again. Much as we are all so incredibly lucky to have discovered Rob at some point over the last few years, I honestly think he’s hit the jackpot, having such an amazing bunch of women whose priority is always to respect, support and promote his career.(Oh, and have a lot of fun along the way!) Wow! 6 years!! It has certainly gone fast but as they say “time flies when you’re having fun” and it’s certainly true in this case. A BIG congratulations to all of you girls who started and kept this awesome site going through the years. I love everything you do here, the way you handle the craziness and the respect you have for Rob. Meeting you at The Rover prem in Sydney was an absolute highlight for me. Here’s to many many many more years to come.

I may have discovered RPAU a little later than some (2009) but not a day goes past that I’m not chafing at the bit to get my dose of Mr Pattinson from this wonderful site. I don’t care if it’s new pics, news, videos or archival wonders – I love all of it, but I think one of the really special things is reading the comments after each post. I’ve watched names come and go, but some come up time and again, often with the funniest things. So, to all the girls who contribute posts (Maria, Michelle, Jules, Suze, Roberta and Vertigo) a huge thank you for your hard work over the years. And to all the girls who post regular comments, thanks for sharing the obsession and being brave enough to go public with it! Happy 6th Anniversary!

I remember so well the first time I commented, even though I had lurked for a while – Sydney was covered in a red dust cloud and RPAU posted The Twi press LA with Rob looking soooo amazing.
RPAU was different than the other sites I lurked. There was no bitchiness. Each post was positive and supportive. I didn’t actually make the connection straight away that here, the focus was solely on Rob’s career and that kept the site respectful. I just knew this was my home and I felt safe
Thank you M&M. Thank you V&J&S. Thank you to everyone that comments here, just the once or as a shared daily addiction. Thank you for the life long friends I have made world wide. Thank you to Rob for making this all possible. HaHaHa – it sounds like an acceptance speech now. I’ll stop the rambling and leave my heart here, were I know it will be safe.

Congrats on 6 years of Rob awesomeness. This is an awesome prize.The Rover Sydney premiere weekend is one of my highlights in life so far. Could not imagine a better way to emulate that but by winning a prize here, other than Rob knocking on my front door lol
