I remember when I first saw glimpses of this in the teaser trailer, I couldn’t wait to see how the entire scene would unfold and it did not disappoint.  For me, this is where you see  how pushed over the edge Eric is.  That maniacal glean in his eyes, his behaviour as he struts and swaggers through gate/lane.  The way his physical appearance is as unraveled as his environment.  I loved how Cronenberg peeled away a part of Eric’s exterior in every scene  until we get to this.  I could go on for days and like Sue has said – it’s hard not to post this entire film as my favourite scene.  But for today – let’s just enjoy Eric swaggering like a boss.

Oh my Lord, this scene is phenomenal. It gives me chills every time. If I had to watch one thing only, on loop, for the rest of my life, I would pick the Eric Packer Swagger.
Then the Nancy Babich prayer at the end … chills.

Ahhh, the swagger ~ thumbs up from me!

ps. @Maria, your Current Mood gif is SO distracting (not really complaining LOL). I now cover it while I’m looking at the posts, or else my eyes wander north!

LOVE this scene so much, my eyes are glued to the screen each & every time I watch, Eric swaggering down that lane way, speaking ‘Nany Babich’ into the gun & then busting through Benno’s door – chills for me too Carmel. You could just tell from the snippet we saw in the trailer that scene was going to be PHENOMENAL & it sure was all that & more. LOVE LOVE LOVE it. Perfect choice Maria,

I cannot wait for MTTS to see the next chapter of Rob & Cronenberg brilliance. The two of them together are beyond words epic 😀
