The plot thickens.

Variety has posted an article about what’s being included for sale at the European Film Market in the next few weeks and:

Voltage Pictures reps romantic thriller “A Girl and a Gun” with Anthony Mackie and Megan Fox; and Fred Schepisi’s romantic drama “Words and Pictures” with Clive Owen and Juliette Binoche. … The Exchange hits the Potsdamer Platz with Sundance buzz pic “The Spectacular Now,” starring Miles Teller and Shailene Woodley, which sold to upstart distrib A24 for the U.S. … Ealing Metro Intl. will be selling actioner “Last Man Out” starring Brosnan, while Hyde Park Intl. reps comedy “A Friggin’ Christmas Miracle” with Joel McHale and Robin Williams. Berlin will see a pair of queens up for sale: “Queen of the Desert” repped by Sierra/Affinity with helmer Werner Herzog attached, and Atom Egoyan’s “Queen of the Night,” being sold by Entertainment One Intl., starring Ryan Reynolds.” [my emphasis]

Is it just me reading between the lines that only Herzog has been referred to as attached in “Queen of the Desert” – I do that often – read between the lines that is.  And funny I tweeted about Kevin Durand’s involvement in Queen of the Night the other day.  Anyway, I also checked Sierra Affinity’s website and found this:

Can’t wait to see who pics this up (fingers crossed we get an Aussie distributor nonetheless).

I get so confused with all the changes. I heard Jude Law is out. True/False??

Thanks so much for keeping us updated Maria. I have everything crossed for it too. I should try and come up with something more original than ‘I’m very excited’….I seem to be saying that a LOT here lately 😉

Me too, got everything crossed. LOL I know what you mean Jules. I try to come up with some other words too but ‘I’m so excited” seems to be the only one that says it right 🙂 Thanks for the update Maria.

Not 100% sure Sare re: Jude Law. Maria posted an article from The Playlist last week & this is what he said: “I don’t think that’s happening. I don’t think I can do that anymore,”

We’ll just have to wait & see what happens.

I’m so excited about all these projects. Oops. It seems that has been said already 🙂 Still just as true though.

All these twists and turns in getting some projects up and running could make for their own movie plot. Very intriguing . You ladies do a superb job bringing us all the Rob clues. Thank you.
