It’s not quite midnight here on the East Coast but thanks to the uber talented Jules, the New Year is arriving in grand style with her awesome banner! Nobody does it better!
In celebration of our favorite Rob moments, here are my choices. . .
Favorite Movie Scene: Cosmopolis
This was incredibly tough to choose. Not only deciding which scenes, but which film. I loved ‘Bel Ami’…Rob was brilliant as Georges. I traveled to Chicago to see it on the big screen and it was so worth it! Ultimately, though, I chose ‘Cosmopolis’ as my favorite because Rob’s extraordinary performance as Eric Packer impressed countless critics, silenced a lot of naysayers, and brought him long overdue respect and acknowledgement of his talent as an actor. This clip combines two favorite scenes from the ending of the film.
Thanks again to Michelle for her technical assistance.
Favorite Photoshoot: Blackbook Magazine
For me, there was a bit of a bad boy vibe to the shoot that I loved. I had a couple of particular favorites from this shoot, one of which Maria posted. So I’ll share two more, seeing as I find Rob quite lethal in a black leather jacket.
Favorite TV Appearance: Jimmy Fallon
No question here. I LOVE Jimmy and he and Rob make a great comedy team. The interview was priceless. And ‘Water Wars’ was the best laugh I had in a long time.

Favorite Premiere: I too loved seeing Rob at the Cosmopolis Cannes premiere. It was wonderful to see him take the spotlight at such a prestigious and distinguished event. But. . . I decided to deviate a bit and substitute favorite premiere with press conference. When I saw the videos and photos from the Cosmopolis Toronto press conference, my reaction was “Good Lord!” and then *THUD*. The beaming smile, the laughter, the obvious pride he felt sitting next to David Cronenberg and Paul Giamatti. And the icing on the cake: he looked smokin’ hot in that outfit. The toothpick didn’t hurt either. 😉
Here’s to an abundance of favorite Rob moments in 2013!
YES Suze! The toothpick was the prop highlight of the year I think.
LOVING your choices Suze & am SO with you re: Toronto Press Conference – Rob was absolutely beautiful. Awww, such special moments.
My pleasure Suze – any time 🙂
Rob & that toothpick and those gorgeous gifs & pics ~ beautiful choice, Suze! How good did he look? Absolute perfection. Thank you.
Happy New Year Everyone, may 2013 bring you all every happiness, lots of smiles & laughter and an abundance of Rob treats! Looking forward to another amazing year here at RPAU ~ thanks as always to those that make it all possible.
Jules, the new banner is just…. outstanding. I really wish I could express it better, but you know what I mean…… thank you.
Awesome choices Suze!!!!!!
The new banner, there are no words but i’ll go with AMAZING for now. Wow Jules, you just get better and better!!!!
The banner is spectacular isn’t it @Vicky – you should have seen my reaction when Jules sent me a sneak peek at The Rover and Mission Blacklist. We are just so blessed to have her on board at RPAU
Completely agree with the Toronto press conference Suze. And Jimmy Fallonis always are guaranteed laugh fest!
Ain’t that the truth Maria, so so very lucky to have Jules here with us at RPAU. *nods* re: the banner. We could not wait to unveil it. It’s just absolutely beyond words BRILLIANT. Thank you soooo much once again Jules for creating this for us, cannot say enough how much we appreciate it 😀
Oops I thought i commented on this – Suze I blame the toothpick – it’s very distracting.
Love everything you have said and done and it’s funny how similar we all are.
Now waits to see what Jules has chosen.
Oh, Thank you Suze – The Toothpick.
@Maria – I think The Toothpick is a perfectly acceptable excuse for anyone’s mind wandering. Mine went for a walk when I first saw it and it hasn’t really come back since.
LOVE your choices Suze and your words and me smiling as I read. Totally brilliant….thank you so much for doing this.
I think Ive said this in each post but I’ve LOVED reading everyone’s thoughts and seeing the choices….
oh and the banner comments are amazing….THANK YOU so much 🙂 xx
Oh god – I agree with all of you girls’ choices – I couldn’t choose myself. It’s been an amazing year for Rob, not only his talent shining bright but also the way he comports himself in the glare of the public eye. He’s shown himself to be a true gentleman and for that I will forever be in awe. Vindication for loving him so much – he’s not just a pretty face- he’s beautiful inside as well. Thank you, Suze for sharing your choices, and for all your work at RPAU.
