It’s still making money, obviously, but I’m sure there were some that doubted my comments on the weekend when I said that interest in the film had decreased in week 2. According to IF.com:
“The latest Bond instalment, Skyfall, dominated the box office over the weekend, raking in a massive $ 12,304,513.
Debuting at #1 on 595 screens, Skyfall opened in Australia on November 22 and has outperformed the opening weekend of Quantum of Solace by an impressive 84%.
This makes Skyfall the biggest opening ever for a Bond film in Australia and the biggest opening weekend of all time for Sony Pictures Releasing Australia.
This box office success has placed Skyfall in the top 20 openings of all time, ahead of Avatar (LC$11.99 mill) and Twilight Breaking Dawn – Part 1 (LC$12.1mill.)
However it failed to break through the records set by The Avengers (LC$13.28mill) and Twilight Breaking Dawn Part 2 (LC $12.49mill.)”.

Interesting, thanks Maria. The numbers are unbelievable. Oh and congrats to Skyfall….sorry for the O/T not normally a Bond fan but I thought it was great, lot of fun and London and Scotland added so much to the movie. I may be biased LOL
