Sounds good! Although I’d have to find out which cinema it’ll be held at before giving a definite answer, as i’d have to figure out if I can get a train there and back from the Gong without being too late!

@Steph I’d hope it was something in the city or close by and easy to get too – it won’t be the Ritz at Randwick – I think Hopscotch is more affiliated with the indie cinemas and/or Greater Union/Hoyts or whatever they are now called.

*giggling like a school girl* How cool is this? I’d LOVE to come to Sydney again, but I’m not sure if a mid week break would be possible. However, if there was to be a Melbourne one, I would be there with bells on….even suspenders perhaps …… and I would make sure to get as many people there as possible, even If I had to pay for their ticket myself LOL

Bummer about The Ritz though. I sort of have the warm and fuzzies about that place becuase of their Rob support. With the exception of How To Be I have seen all possible Rob movies there. I only found RPAU a few days after that screening.

@Carmel I’m only saying this because I usually am the one to organise through the Ritz and I’m not sure who Hopscotch has in mind yet. I guess it depends on the numbers we get. I love the Ritz too they have always supported Rob’s career.

If you build the numbers George’s will come -or something like that. I am in Melbourne so fingers crossed we can build the momentum needed – thank you for trying to organize

I’m from Melbourne but I’d be more than more than happy to support Rob in this. If it does go ahead I will need enought time to organize myself eg time away from work, getting a flight etc. I’ve never been to Sydney other than the airport so this would be great. Count me in.

Ok so to give you an update – I’m going to sit down over the Easter break and figure out who is in – where the most are and what not. I’m still hoping to leave this open for another week or so because I know not everyone checks their twitter and our site daily.

It’s not looking good at the moment, but it’s only been 3 days and I know when we held the Little Ashes event, we had 150 people tell us they were interested, but only 75 turned up. I really need people to be committed to this. I know it’s only 1 day before, but just think – Rob minded people to share him with *giggles*.

Anyway I’m not discounting it happening yet – thanks everyone who has responded – I truly appreciate it!

Oh Maria, you don’t know how much I wish you could count me in on Sydney (plus it would be cool to meet some of you) I really hope you guys get to do this, even if it’s so I can live vicariously through other’s fortune to live in the right city for Robscreenings, lol!
