At last we have some information about the special features on the UK Water For Elephants DVD & Blu-ray (Triple Play) – yay!  I’ve been checking everyday so we can update our UK friends, but until now, nothing solid.  The following info was featured in the October issue of ‘DVD & Blu Ray Review Magazine’:

seenit.co.uk also gives us some more detailed info:

For the cost of the disc you’ll also get a digital copy and iTunes link allowing you to play the film on your iPad or computer.

Plus Blu-ray shoppers will get the following special features

Audio Commentary with Director Francis Lawrence and Writer Richard LaGravenese
Raising The Tent
The Menagerie
Secrets of The Big Top
The Star Attraction
The Travelling Show – Page To Screen
Robert Pattinson Spotlight
Working Without A Net: The Visual Effects of Water for Elephants
Feature Performer Reese Witherspoon
Theatrical Trailer

While DVD buyers will have to contend with the following:

Robert Pattinson Spotlight
Feature Performer Reese Witherspoon

The features listed are identical to those of the Australian Blu-ray version & almost identical to the Norwegian Blu-ray & DVD version.  From what we know so far, looks like all countries special features are going to be the same or very similar. As always, if any more info surfaces we will of course let you all know.  The day when we can own beautiful Jacob on DVD is fast approaching *claps hands*  Cannot wait!

Here’s some pre-order reminder links  (if you haven’t already done so of course *grins*)  Can never have too many copies of Jacob – not possible.

Australia
UK
US (still no release date known yet – fingers crossed announced soon!)

Thanks to @Gossipgyal for the scan.

I’ve been hoping I would get teh spotlight in DVD from some country but it doesn’t look like it. So it is now time to upgrade.

The spotlight is featured on the UK single DVD version Carmel 😀 I would say that it’ll be on our Australian DVD version too considering our Blu-ray features are the same. Updating to a Blu-ray player is definitely something I’m doing though. So many more features on the Blu-ray versions. No way I am going to miss out on any Rob features – just isn’t going to happen 😀

I’m with Michelle. I just went out and did soem BluRay window shopping because I am not going to miss a thing when it comes to Jacob or any of Rob’s future projects. Then I can also go into his back cataloge and update to BluRay. I wonder what I’ll find. 🙂
