Well Rotten Tomatoes may have thought that there was no chemistry between Rob and Reese, but there’s no denying this:

“Reese Witherspoon and Robert Pattinson drew a solid crowd for their romantic drama Water for Elephants which premiered in third place with an estimated $17.5M. Based on the best-selling novel, the PG-13 film averaged $6,212 from 2,817 locations and played heavily to female audiences, lovers of the book, and Twilight fans that follow Pattinson religiously. Critics had mixed feelings but the built-in audiences came out anyway giving Fox the best opening for an adult drama this year so far. Mature-skewing thrillers and comedies have done exceptionally well this year, but regular dramas have seen more modest numbers on the first weekend. An A- CinemaScore suggests a good run ahead as counter-programming to a steady diet of testosterone flicks about to attack multiplexes.”

Can I just say, and I’m sure I speak for a lot of us here, that I’m getting really little tired of being ignored.  When will the critics/journos/whoever understand that Rob Pattinson actually HAS fans that are NOT because of Twilight. No I feel like taking out a full page advertisement that says “I am a Robert Pattinson fan and I will follow him religiously in whatever he does which includes Twilight because believe me I wouldn’t waste my time in the cinema for that drivel if it wasn’t for Rob and what he brings to it.”

That is all.

Hmmm no chemistry huh Rotten Tomatoes? You clearly need glasses or a stronger prescription. The proof says otherwise now doesn’t it!! ‘Best opening for an adult drama this year so far’ *claps hands*

Here here Maria. Seriously why is it SO hard for people to understand that Rob already had fans before Twilight. It shits me no end that everything he does they always relate back to that saga. It’s like they cannot comprehend that we are Rob fans that have loved & followed him for years now. They for some insane reason think that if you like Rob, it’s cause of Twilight. *shakes head* could not be more WRONG.

Poor little creatures, they are always measuring the intelligence of people by their own intelligence which is the same thing as nothing.
Rotten Tomatoes and others just talk and talk and talk…. these people earn easy money.
WFE is going well at the box offices. It is not a blockbuster movie, it is a very good film, delicate, smart, beautiful.
By the way, the idea of the outdoor is really good. I loved it.

Three cheers for a movie with substance doing well at the box office. Watch those critics back peddling and be amused. Very amused.
Also, although I worship at his feet daily, I don’t need blind faith to follow Rob. The evidence is there if the critics would only see.
