I’d like to say tell us something we didn’t know, but then some of us might not know it since they probably don’t follow box office profits as closely as I do.  There are other actors in Hollywood who some people think outshine Rob, but I’ve been watching their box office results and well let’s just say bums on seats / DVD sales speak louder than Hollywood PR machines  … yep I said it.  Anyway, The Numbers.com analysed films released in 2010 and came up with their list of most profitable films of the year:

“In making this calculation, we took the production budget, domestic and international box office and domestic DVD sales for each movie released during the year and calculated a rough total gross profit for the film. There’s just one chart this week, but we think you’ll find it interesting.”

Remember Me made it in at no. 30, but you can click on the link to see the rest.  Of course Eclipse is also in the list at no. 2, which means Rob’s had two profitable films in one year.  Hmm might explain why the critics are currently shying away from the anti-Rob bandwagon for Cosmopolis.  I do believe there might be 3 films on that list for 2011.

Thanks to RememberMeFilms and HSquare.

If it’s going to take numbers to make them wake up to the truth, then I’ll take it. This is fantastic confirmation and like you Martha, am not at all surprised.
Thanks for the info Maria. 2011 will push that point even more. Woot!

Ditto to that Vertigo & Martha M! No surprise – none at all. Thanks for letting us know Maria – LOVE seeing RM news. Deserves every single bit of the success it receives. Anyone who does not appreciate this film & recognise how brilliant it is doesn’t have a brain in their head. 3 films on the list for 2011 – most definitely!!! Ah yes, the critics will be eating their words – cannot wait.
