Laremy Legel of Film.com you are a very wise man:

“Massively Underrated: Youth in Revolt / Remember Me
Youth in Revolt was an innovative comedy, but it was released during a time period where people skip the theatrical experience. And if Remember Me had featured Ryan Gosling instead of Robert Pattinson it would have been correctly hailed as great. But people got far too caught up in the ending and Pattinson’s celebrity to catch that he was really freaking good in this movie. Definitely worth a watch if you you’re a fan of relationship dramas.” (My emphasis)

Why yes Laremy, yes he was.    If you want to see which film’s Laremy put in this top 10, then click on the link.  Remember Me didn’t make the cut, but hey – his comments above more than make up for that.  Thanks to RPLife for the tip.

Laremy you are one VERY smart man – “really freaking good” is damn right. It is SO great to see people appreciate how BRILLIANT Rob is in this wonderful film. How anyone could ever watch RM & not be completely drawn into the story, fall in love with it’s characters & care so deeply for them I will never ever ever understand. I cry each & everytime I watch, the loss of Tyler just completely tears my heart out. People who do not appreciate it clearly have no heart, none whatsoever.

OMG!!! Finally!!! Finally!!! Someone who can look past the Twilight silliness and recognize a good performance. Rob was awesome in that movie and I am sure that more and more critics will come to realise it sooner or later.Hallelujah!!!
Thanks for posting this @maria, it has really made my day.
“really freaking good” – and then some…
And your pic choice is again priceless. Perfection.

Finally someone who speaks some sense!!!! So good that Rob is being recognised for Remember Me, at last. It would have to be one of the most heart wrenching and unforgettable movies I have seen in a long, long time. You cannot help but be moved by the performances in the movie, I still sob everytime I watch. “Really freaking good”, absofreakinglutely!!!

A very cool review and spot on the money. I took a sceptic (male) friend with me to RM and they were blown away by the story and Rob’s performance and gave it 4 out of 5. RM is brilliant. Rob definitely is really freaking good in this movie
