Like some animal that’s been skinned …
Umming and ahrring I changed my mind about how many times was it M&M’s? Every scene is a favourite and has a telling as beautiful as the next.  I chose to share this piece with you all today, a combination of two moments deliberately meshed in the movie, giving insight to Salvador seeing Federico and visa versa.  The alley which then leads to the common room where these two souls connect while oblivious to onlookers (beautiful).  Rob’s delivery is so convincing that you feel Dali with every ounce of your being.  We have to be brave Federico!

If anyone is going to remember me, then I need to go further in everything …

No Limit.

Thanks @Vertigo. I really don’t think I can add anything moreto what you have already said. Plus I will sound like a broken record *blahblahblah fantastic as Dali blahblahblah*. Rob is a godsend 😀

Absolutely brilliant!!! The scene in the common room is just so powerful. You can’t help but be drawn further in by both of these characters. Rob and Javier just so wonderful in what is truly an exceptional movie. Thanks Vertigo.

I LOVE this beautiful scene Vertigo & agree with every single word you have said. Rob’s “If anyone is going to remember me, then I need to go further in everything” speech – just so so powerful. Thanks so much for sharing with us Vertigo.

LOL Maria, same here. I could seriously go on forever & ever about how brilliant Rob is as Dali & frequently do hehe.

Ive never actually seen any clips of this film before now. Im completely blown away with his acting ability.

the only thought that keeps tracking trhough my head is
‘why the hell is he wasting his time on teen vampire films with potential like this?’

Well @ Caro twilight has allowed Rob to forge ahead with his career and he does play Edward with a grace and dignity that I know no one else could. I too resisted even watching the Twilight movie when it came out cause I thought Oh Rob no!!! But I did and he is fantastic as Edward and we all have all the other fantastic roles he will play to look forward too.

@Caro – you are in for a treat – I have a few more vids that I will post tonite and tomorrow. This film is definitely phenomenal and well we have to thank Catherine Hardwicke for seeing his potential and casting him as Edward because that clearly opened up doors for him that unfortunately Goblet of Fire didn’t. It’s all about right time right place and he is definitely in his element now – and thankfully for those of us who saw the glimmer of what he was capable of long before Catherine.

But as regular followers to the site will confirm – I am forever saying that considering the horrendous scripts and poor acting ability of most of his cast mates in the Twi series – it’s amazing that he can do justice to Edward the way that he does. He is a true artist.

“He is a true artist” sums him and his talent up perfectly Maria, nothing more I can add to that 🙂
