Great news, we now have some further details on the release of the New Moon DVD in Australia. Sanity have updated their New Moon listing with the release date of 14 April 2009 & like Twilight, there is a one disc edition & also a  two disc special edition available.  These are the special features listed for the two disc edition:

Audio Commentary With Director Chris Weitz And Editor Peter Lambert
6 Part Behind The Scenes Documentary
Exclusive Band Rehearsal Footage With Muse
Music Videos From Death Cab For Cutie, Anya Marina, And Mutemath.

Seems as though our DVD extras are the same to those of the US DVD.  Doesn’t seem to be very much Rob *sad sad face*  Was hoping so much all the Rob extras would be featured on our version, not fair.  To check it all out & pre-order all you need to do is click on the highlighted links above.  If there are any updates or changes we will of course let you all know.  For our UK & US visitors, all the details for pre-order are in our previous post right here.

@Sare – absolutely. Sole reason for purchasing is for Rob. The middle section of my DVD will be in pristine condition. Will only stop the FF button to see the Eddie apparitions.

ZOMFGGGGGGG LIKE THATS THE DAYT AFTER MY BIRTHDAYYY OMGGGG THANKSSSSSS I NEED TO ORDER LIKE TEN MILLION COPIES TO CELEBRATE…. yeah.
    Moving right along.
I’m still shitty over my lack of Volturi goodness so I can pretend to be put out about a lack of Rob … we both lose this time …
    I blame Jennie Garth!

Very funny @Hanna – no Charlie and hardly any Rob. Oh what were they thinking – imagine Charlie and Rob doing the commentary – that would be awesome. But nope we have to get Chris and the floor sweeper. Oh wait that will be David Slade and the lighting guy on Eclipse. Rob better damn well be on that soundtrack that’s all I’m saying.

Thanks for letting us know Cindy. Maria is in touch with Sanity also. The 14th of April release date has been confirmed by the distributor here in Australia so not sure why Video Ezy have the release date of 24 March. Seems as though the April release date is pretty solid but there is always that possibility of change as there is with everything 🙂
