@SR – I know, so so disappointing 🙁 🙁 There will be no listen from me this time round. Rob’s adorable commentary was the best part of the Twilight DVD. Cannot tell you how many times I have watched it.

OK why the hell would I want to hear what the editor thinks. Hmm perhaps Slade will ask the lighting guy to comment on the Eclipse DVD. Okay well as I’ve said before on the site – I know i’m opinionated and happy to be proved wrong at times, but I will now say something I thought I would never say. I want Catherine Hardwicke back. Sorry Chris – the filming was beautiful, especially Italy, but I’ve watched Twilight over 30 times easy – I’ve watched NM 3 times and not sure I even want to buy the DVD now. And New Moon was my favourite book of the series – so it’s not because of lack of Rob. Oh ok I will buy it because I support Rob, but that’s the only reason. There I’ve said it out loud – I’ve retracted my wrath to CH. I think now I can see that she knew what she was doing. She put Rob on the soundtrack. She was happy to share the commentary with them. The only thing special about the edition is that – well – nope there’s nothing special. The NM DVD – bitter disappointment. No Rob on soundtrack for movie, no Rob on DVD commentary – I just don’t know what they are thinking or maybe Rob decided he didn’t want that kind of involvement anymore. I shudder to think what the next movie will be like. Thank God for Bel-Ami and non-Twi. Well you all know I’m not really a fan of Twi series anyway.

You’re right Michelle – the Remember Me DVD oh God they surely can’t get that one wrong!

Agree Maria, such disappointment. Perhaps Rob did decide that he didn’t want that sort of involvement anymore & if so I can understand that for sure. I am not a real fan of the Twi series either as you all know, but of course you all know how brilliant I think Rob is as Eddie. Am in it purely for Rob & to support him. Bring on RM, Bel-Ami & his non Twilight projects. They are the ones that I absolutely cannot wait for. Speaking of Remember Me, my cinema have finally added the film to their ‘coming soon’ list woooo hooooooo! Am so excited I just had to share 😀 Can never trust Tassie. This comes from the cinema that told me they wouldn’t be screening Twilight – ever. Seems like they have finally got a clue & realise what we have all known for years – that Rob is brilliant & we WANT to see HIS movies.

@SR – Am not so sure that Eclipse will be better. Wish I could say I was – but I’m not.

@Cindy – thanks for that. We have seen the date on Video Ezy but it hasn’t been confirmed as yet. We’re waiting for official confirmation before we post 😀

OMG I feel like crying……I was sooooooooo looking forward to a Rob commentary and all his funny random comments. It just won’t be the same *sniff*

Think you might be right re the CH comments Maria. Just doesn’t feel the same does it? I still like Twilight the best, something so raw and innocent about it before everything to do with the Twi Series got bigger. Was my fave book as well, even though I do love Chris Weitz too. Maybe it was Rob’s choice and if so am happy with that as would hate for him to do something he didn’t want to do. If it wasn’t Rob’s choice then that is just plain DUMB!

  • Maria
    Posted on January 16, 2010

Agree @Lise-Lou – am happy if Rob decided to claw back involvement, but if it wasn’t him – they are absolute morons. They send him to Comic-Con where only a handful of people see him, but they don’t give us commentary which makes us ALL happy. Oh well – will just pretend that it’s Rob’s choice – that’s how I’m going to live with it.

  • Michelle
    Posted on January 16, 2010

Agree with you both Maria & Lise-Lou – if it was Rob’s decision then I am totally happy but if it was someone else’s then they are absolutely totally & utterly insane. I was so looking forward to Rob’s adorable comments. His commentary was the reason why I was so very excited about the DVD. Think I am going to do the same Maria, just believe it was Rob’s choice. Makes me happy that way.

OK I feel a little bit better, it did help, maybe just a little but I will be sulking about this for quite some time 🙁

Charlie should just get his own DVD … A special edition of New Moon where he rewrites the script before playing every part and then editing/directing and producing the results … not to mention feature in every single special effect and do his own commentary.
    HELL. I’D buy it!!!!!!!!!!

  • Maria

Hell @Hanna I’d buy that too. Go Team Bewley! Haha – are you listening Chris????

no Rob or Kristen or Taylor on the commentary? What the hell are they playing at ffs?

Chris Weitz certainly marches to his own drum doesnt he? it’s out of step with anyone else that’s for sure!
