In honour of the Sydney Little Ashes screening at the The Ritz Cinema tomorrow night, I thought I would put together a montage of Rob as Salvador Dali.

Anyone who is in Sydney or the surrounding areas, I urge you to go & see this beautiful film. Rob is just absolutely brilliant in this role.  Yes, some have already seen it on DVD as have we, but this is about supporting Rob & his work.  I am sure you would all agree that nothing can beat seeing a film on the big screen, especially when that film includes Rob.  This is such a wonderful opportunity so please show your support for Rob & this beautiful film by attending. Rob is worth every single bit of our support so let’s show everyone just how much we want to see his films here in Australia.  Reminder that all the info regarding purchasing of tickets can be found here or via the widget on our sidebar.

Thanks to our wonderful elite affiliate Robert Pattinson Source for some of these pics & the lovely Heather for the screen caps.

I’ll have to try and find whichever one of you that’s going tonight to bow down and thank you for putting this together! lol who’s going? 😀

    Have fun in Sydney.

Can’t thank you enough for getting all of this happening, especially at my favourite theatre in Melbourne – I can’t wait for 10/1/10.

I saw NM 5th time last night, my friend and I just can’t help ourselves, it’s like chocolate temptation.
The wolf bits don’t seem to drag quite as much the more you see it, but everytime when the cliff jumping is coming it’s like woohoo fasten your seatbelts at last the good stuff.
Note – older audiences laugh at Taylor stripping.
And weeeeeee I got How to Be dvd last night too.

    Thanks again for Little Ashes.

Hi, I have never posted anything on your site before, just browsed… But just wanted to say, I was in the audience tonight at Little Ashes, and thought it was brilliant! Thank you so much for organizing this special night, I felt very privileged seeing Rob on the big screen in another of his movies, he really did an amazing job as Dali.
    Thanks again!

Hi @NassMum – it’s a pleasure. It was fantastic to see on big screen – right. He really is amazing as Dali and I’m glad you could make it. To all who have it on DVD – there is nothing like seeing Rob on big screen – his eyes in this film are amazing. There I said it.

Hi Liz – it was me that was there tonight. I was the loud one down the front trying to figure out why some scenes are cut from the Aussie version 🙂 Sorry if I annoyed anyone.

Can’t thank you guys enough for making the screening happen last night!! Loved loved loooved the movie, Rob was freaking amazing as Salvador. I’m now dying to get the DVD asap, especially since you said it’s a bit different! lol sorry I couldn’t find you to thank you in person Maria! I was at the front of the line before it started… light brown longish hair with a fringe if anybody saw me trying (and failing) to keep my excitement held in haha xD

@Liz it was a pleasure – I have to say a little selfishly that I needed to see that film on big screen so was glad that Kojo agreed to do it. I was part of the last rowdy group to come in – serves me right for being late – so was down the front. Thanks to all the RPAU regulars who came along – I really really appreciated it.
