It was only a matter of time before Rob brought out his trusty brown jacket and he decided to do it at last night’s A-list Dsquared Cocktail Reception.  We love that jacket – truly we do – I have missed it.  And girls you will be happy to know that although Paris Hilton was there (with her current flame – although you could imagine her ditching him as soon as Rob walked in) I can happily say that I haven’t seen any photos of them together – yet.  Although I’m just curious if it’s an A-list event and it’s in Cannes – why IS Paris Hilton there – I’ve even seen her name brandied on the official Cannes site as “actor”?

Oh and for anyone following my posts about my concern for Rob’s over zealous minder – is that his hands all over him again in the second and third photos?  Seriously even Rob’s face is starting to look like “will this guy just stop touching me”.   Thanks to pattinsonlife.

I love your comments about his hands ! They truly are all over Rob. Now, each time I am looking at Rob’s photos in Cannes, I am searching for the handy bodyguard.

Well if it continues, I guess soon Perez Hilton will post a comment about that !! I dread the title of his future post 🙂

Thanks Seren Dipity. I know the guy treats Rob like he’s a 5 year old and needs to be guided where he’s walking. A little overzealous for my liking.

Told ya… the guy is in luuuuurrrrrve with our Rob! And how could he not be?

But, seriously, man… keep your hands to yourself, enough is enough!

I guess the guy is used to the regularly needy Holliwood stahhhs and does not know who he is exactly dealing with.

*waits for the imminent moment when Rob turns and tells him to “BACK OFF, WILL YA???”*

I know he’s too polite for that, but a girl can dream, no? 😉

Well, I’ve seen other pictures of Rob with the guy and they seem to actually get along quite well, after all…

Oh yeah – well I don’t doubt that they get on – I’ve seen the photos too – it’s just tongue in cheek that he manhandles Rob a little too frequently.

I see, Maria ;)… but I do think he does hover a bit too much, though (did you see that bit on the red carpet where the photographer has to tell him to step away from the frame? Hahaha, poor King Kong!)… I mean, I understand it’s his job, but it seems like he’s his nanny… next thing we know he’ll grab Rob by the hand to take him to the loo! Hahaha!
Can’t say he’s not earning his pay, though!

Personally, I don’t think I could stand it, to have someone around like that all the time… especially if he took the liberty to put his hand on my waist, as I’ve seen him do with Rob… I’m a bit funny about the invasion of personal space…
