I’m not sure if you’ve heard about this, but there is a ‘Little Ashes Movement’ in the US at the moment, where fans are emailing, calling and talking to their local cinemas about Little Ashes, asking them to show it. The Little Ashes Promo Blitz are asking all UK fans to do the same. At the moment, there  are about 7 theatres across the UK, showing this movie. If you live in the UK, and want to see Little Ashes at cinema near you, please click here and find out about the ‘Little Ashes Movement’.

What about Australian fans? So far, we know that the film already has a distributor here, Kojo Pictures. But there is no news on any cinema screening at all. They were saying that the film might go straight to DVD. Any of you interested in starting a ‘Little Ashes Movement’ here in Australia?

Thanks for the LA update Cilla! I am all for seeing this movie in the cinema.
I have contacted Adelaide art house cinemas regarding any screening dates for LA, with no success. I am more then happy to do what I can for this movement.
Although I’m in Adelaide, let us know what I maybe able to do to support LA being screened elsewhere in the country. 🙂

Although I’ve preordered the DVD from Amazon I would definitely like to see it on the cinema screen. I have already emailed the main ‘indie’ cinema in Adelaide but am willing to put my name to petitions or whatever to the distributor.
Thanks for the ET clip etc. too.

Hi Cilla, I checked the website, but I couldn’t find very clear information on how they are proceeding in approaching the cinemas.

For the moment I’m compiling a list of independent cinemas in Sydney with address, phone no. and fax no. I’ll send a copy to you when I’m finished, for your approval and input (as I’m still too new in the country!).

I would be available to call the cinemas, but I’m not sure what I should tell them and what I should ask…

Hi Cilla, I have been following the Robsessed L.A. movement for a couple of weeks now, it’s a fantastic idea and I’d Love to see Little Ashes on the big screen. I’ve started contacting a couple of the cinemas and have passed the info on to some friends who are keen too.
