Catherine Hardwicke says ‘thanks’ to Twilight fans for making Twilight: The Director’s Notebook, the No 1 book at the New York Times Bestseller’s list this week. That is really an amazing achievement! I’ve bought the book and I must say that I enjoyed reading it. It has some interesting stuff on the film, including how stunts were done, make up and wardrobe, location scouting, and many others.

Here’s a video from her:

Dear Twilight fans,

I wanted to send out a note of thanks to all of you. I recently found
out that my book, Twilight: Director’s Notebook, will debut at #1 on
this Sunday’s New York Times bestseller list. I am stunned. Throughout
this entire process, from pre-production on the film, to the premieres,
to my book events, I have always been overwhelmed by the support the
Twilight fans have had for me, the movie and now my book. I wanted to
give the fans, as well as aspiring filmmakers, a closer look at how we
made the movie and I hope you enjoyed entering my world of making films
as much as I have had in being part of the Twilight world.

Catherine

Thanks for posting the message Cilla.
Catherine is so full of win I also had to buy the book.
Sadly I’ve not given it a good study as yet since being on the road at the mo, but from what I did manage to see, it’s pretty informative. That book will be the first thing I pick up when I get back home.
Good for her making the NY times best seller list.
