Matthew McNulty talks to ES magazine about his role in Little Ashes, his next movie with British director Ken Loach, his previous roles and his fiancee (his high school sweetheart and the mother of his two children). Can this guy be any more awesome? Sorry…when it comes to Matt, I must admit that I’m really  biased. I really wish the best for him and hope that Little Ashes will bring him the attention he deserves.

Here’s what he said about Rob:

There’s something that draws you to Rob. He is really intelligent and he’s a charming chap as well. When the Twilight thing exploded I wasn’t surprised. Little Ashes will be seen by a lot more people now.’ Matthew and Robert are the only British actors in the Spanish cast. ‘Previously he was just that guy from Harry Potter [he played Cedric Diggory and was murdered by Ralph Fiennes in the fourth instalment]. The fact that he’s playing Dali will wash that off a bit and people will see him as a proper actor.’

Special thanks to Tracy and Tina for sending me the link.

Hi Cilla, I just wanted to tell somebody and you’d be one who would understand my excitement – my Borders dvd of Twilight special edition is on its way to me!! Yay!!

I ordered it after you did a post and a link then almost forgot about it until today when I got their email. Thanks Cilla!

Hi Mel, wow…that’s really exciting. I wish mine is on the way as well.

I think I ordered it a bit late…so I’m not expecting to get mine until reasonably later.

Once you get it, you have to let me know what you think of it. I heard great things about the Special Features. And the pictures would be really nice as well.

That is so exciting Mel. You will definitely have to tell us all about the DVD when you receive it 😀

Unfortunately I ordered mine a little later too so I’m not expecting mine for a while either.

I have just read the article about Matthew & enjoyed reading it so much. The part where he talks about his fiancee & sons is so sweet. I really hope that he receivea the attention he deserves as well Cilla. I love what I have seen of his acting in the LA trailer & I look forward to seeing his future projects as well.

Ah Mel that’s awesome! *dance of joy*
I still have no idea when either of my editions are coming.

I have to say Matt seems like an absolute sweetheart and the fact that he speaks highly of Rob scores major points. 🙂
I bet he’s very talented and can’t wait to see him in action.
