New Synopsis for David Michôd’s The King (which may or may not feature Robert Pattinson)

Other than a few media outlets reporting it and Rob’s name being added to this project on IMDbPro (not to mention all the speculation the above photo may have caused from the Vogue party earlier this week), we really don’t have any official confirmation of Rob’s involvement yet.  In the meantime, Porchlight Films (Liz Watts is co-producing) has provided this new synopsis in their recent news update:

The King is an historical epic set against the varied textures of Medieval Britain in the early 1400s and based loosely on the life of Henry V, culminating in the famous English victory over French forces at the Battle of Agincourt. [My emphasis]

I know some have been speculating on which role Rob may play (if he is involved).  It’s impossible to know exactly what David or Joel have in mind, so I’m just going to wait and see rather than speculate.  As you know, regardless of whether Rob is involved or not, it’s a David Michôd film so I’m in.
