Scott Feinberg includes Robert Pattinson in his Best Actor Oscar Run
As we head towards the pointy end of the year, the Oscar predictions seem to be gathering steam. Scott Feinberg from THR keeps a running list which are “formulated using a combination of personal impressions (from advance screenings), publicly available information (release dates, genres, talent rosters and teasers/trailers often offer valuable clues), historical considerations (how other films with similar pedigrees have resonated), precursor awards (some groups have historically correlated with the Academy more than others) and consultations with industry insiders (including fellow members of the press, awards strategists, filmmakers and voters)”.  He believes if the race ended now this is how the nominations would look for Best Actor:
He also thinks that Good Time might be a long shot for “Best Film”. Personally I don’t think it’s an “Oscar” film, but i’m happy to be proven wrong. And historically, “Best Film” Oscars don’t always equate to “Best Actor” awards either and vice versa. But we will all keep an eye on this as we head towards Award Season in 2018. It would be great for Rob to get the recognition he deserves and if he gets a Globe nomination then Scott’s prediction might gather even more steam.

I have no clue how it’s all going to pan out, but I’m certainly enjoying all the high praise being heaped on Rob and Good Time in general.
Me too. Just to on serious lists is very impressive.
