TelecableSat correspondent Henry Arnaud sat down with Rob during the Cannes Film Festival to talk about “Good Time”. Rob jokes that it was interesting to play a character who has no vanity whatsoever and that it was freeing to play the “bad guy”. He comments on the effort to make Connie look as bad as possible and that there is no expectation when it comes to looking bad, compared to playing the heartthrob. He adds that it’s very satisfying to get your movie screened at Cannes: “There’s no backdoor to get your movie in. You can’t cheat.”
