Good Time will have its Russian premiere on 26 July 2017 as part of the Otkritie x Strelka Film Festival:

Vigorous crime drama of the youngest participants in the Cannes competition in 2017 – Safdie brothers. Robert Pattinson, as they say American critics (Variety, The Hollywood Reporter, Telegraph), playing in her best role of his career – a bank robber named Connie, whose carefree lifestyle does not prevent him to take care of his younger brother Nick with mental retardation (played by one of directors brothers – Ben Safdie). The film unfolds rapidly for one night: on another elaborate crime Connie takes his partner’s brother, who at first seems to be coping fine. As a result, despite a convincing plan, robbery fails, and Nick is helpless in jail. Connie started up in all heavy to pull his brother from prison, but each new step brings a new threat to horses. Future two brothers turns at opposite ends of the pendulum. He is to decide how far he can go, to regain the freedom of others.

At the Cannes Film Festival film “Good time” won the award for best soundtrack. In 2014, Safdie Brothers were awarded the Prize of the International Confederation of feature films at the Venice Film Festival for his film “God knows what.”

The Russian premiere of the film will take place in the second festival Otkritie x Strelka Film Festival. Film Otkritie x Strelka Film Festival is supported by the Bank “Opening” and MasterCard . In a series of ten screenings collected Stas Tyrkinym, will feature movies, winners and participants of the largest international film festivals, as well as Russian – “Kinotavr” and “movement”.
