Back in 2010, Rob joined the elite group of celebrities who have been immortalized with wax figures at Madame Tussauds wax museum. I’ve been to the NYC museum and while the resemblance of many of the wax figures to their human version is uncanny, I’m still scratching my head over Rob’s figure. I think most of us fans can agree that you just can’t capture the essence of Rob in wax.

So, how did Rob feel about his wax figures? In an appearance on Madrid’s El Hormiguero, he was given a look at 3 versions and his facial expressions tell the story and are absolutely priceless!

In an interview with Metro about the wax figures, Rob commented:

‘It looks like Hugh Jackman,’ he exclaims. ‘I think it IS Hugh Jackman – they’ve just smushed it in a bit.’

The ONLY good thing to EVER come from any Rob waxworks around the world, is these classic reactions from the man himself! I think for a brief moment he even thinks “Is that really how people see me?” LOL. Hopefully he knows we’re laughing WITH him. Crazy stuff. Thanks Suze.

LOL I still chuckle when I see Rob’s reactions. Thanks Suze and agree Sue – the best thing to eventuate from these wax images of someone not Rob is Rob’s reaction.

    Lol. Rob’s reactions are priceless.
A few of us got together to see wax Rob in Sydney. The curator insisted it actually did look just like Rob. Vicky and I were still pretty sure we had studied Rob more than the wax artist and this was not an Our Rob at all.
To be fare, that didn’t stop us posing in all the obvious ways with Wax Rob.
