Weekly roundup of all career news for Robert Pattinson

image host

I often come across conversations on Twitter about Robert, some I ignore, some I agree with silent, but this one made my day on Saturday morning. THE LOST CITY OF Z: Started off this week with some lovely words spoken about Robert from James Gray & Charlie Hunnam.  Some French reviews were still petering through and with the UK release on Friday, the reviews post has been updated. Another week and more film festivals – Athens with a screening date to be confirmed, Palm Springs will host a members screening in April, Minneapolis St Paul FF confirmed that the film open the festival and it looks like Dubai Intl Film Festival will also screen, more to follow. Another week another new still of Henry Costin. The UK are lucky they can win that signed poster *notenviousrepeatnotenvious*. THE CHILDHOOD OF A LEADER:  Japan will release their DVD & Bluray in May. Ireland will have a special screening in April and the film will also compete at the Titanic Intl Film Fest. GOOD TIME:  Cannes …. *onmykneespraying* DIOR: *clapshands* new Dior shoot and campaign. Thanks Uncle Karl. QUEEN OF THE DESERT: Really happy that the US is finally going to see this film. IN OTHER NEWS: Robert is so good in supporting charities – this time you can bid for a signed t-shirt to raise funds for prostate cancer, which as you may recall he has supported in the past. Charlie Hunnam thought Robert didn’t like him, but actually shone a light on how focused Robert is when shooting a film. The Telegraph UK did a great interview with James Gray – it’s definitely a fab read, but for those who might not want spoilers the only comment about Robert is in regard to filming “Rob [Pattinson] sort of kept to himself and did the best he could.” Nice tie in with Charlie’s paranoia – see Robert didn’t talk to anyone (see comment above re his focus when filming). COMING UP NEXT WEEK:  The theatrical release of The Lost City of Z in Austria and Germany; screening at Atlanta and Fontenay Le Compte film festivals.  See you next week – can’t wait to see what’s going to be shared.
