Weekly review of career and movie news for Robert Pattinson

THE LOST CITY OF Z:  New Zealand has an official poster as does the Czech Republic.  Lithuana has a distributor and release date.  The same distributor will also release in Latvia, although we posted the release date a few weeks ago. Speaking of Latvia, we know have the screening date for Spektr Film Festival and Dallas International Film Festival has given us the two dates for the screenings.  The film has been added to more film festivals:  San Francisco, Hawaii and Louisianna.  How about that new Henry Costin still – thanks Posh. Also thanks to Posh is the roundup of French magazines featuring the film and I snuck in some Dior pics too. I’ve updated the movie reviews with the French release.  Robert talked with Simon Mayo of Kermode and Mayo and what a treat it was to listen to Robert about Henry Costin, why he chooses films and that snippet of description of Good Time & Damsel – slapstick comedy you say – I’m there.  Speaking of which. DAMSEL:  We had confirmation that Robert is doing music for the film. Big thanks to Larushka who tweeted us that she had interviewed Robert.  Great info from her.  Clara Ott from Welt also gave us some insights – I’ve posted a large extract and the link for you to read the entire piece. HIGH LIFE:  Apparently Zadie Smith is no longer attached which is unfortunate. QUEEN OF THE DESERT: IFC confirms it will be in US theatres  & VOD from 14 April 2017 – more info to follow.  GOOD TIME: A release date and a distributor with a dedicated page. Things are definitely looking good. IN OTHER NEWS: Screen Daily is speculating what may be at Cannes and has included Safdie Bros “Good Time“.  Intrepid Travel has a competition to win a trip to explore the Amazing (in conjunction with Studio Canal and the release of The Lost City of Z). For those interested in purchasing the soundtrack for The Lost City of Z, it’s out from 24 March 2017. Speaking of LCOZ – looks like there may be an LA premiere? Stay tuned. Also there’s a few UK TV spots – check out all the trailers at Studio Canal UK’s YouTube channel.  Cosmopolis is currently available on CANALPlay.  COMING UP NEXT WEEK:  The Lost City of Z release in the UK & Ireland, plus a special US screening at the Environmental Film Awards on 23 March 2017. See you then …
