Relatively quiet week in comparison to the onslaught last week.  THE LOST CITY OF Z: Seriously, gore and graphic scenes gives you a 15 rating in the UK.  I swear I see more gore and graphic scenes on the evening news. However, the US has now downgraded to PG-13 after some re-editing, and thanks to the Film Stage we know it’s only deleted about 1 second of footage during a war scene. Curious to know what version we will get in Australia though. Studio Canal Australia has now added the film to their website, although no release has been confirmed. Singapore has a distributor and an April 2017 release date as does Russia. I had confirmation that Robert is currently confirmed for the press conference and red carpet at Berlinale. You should all find out by Tuesday what date that is. Italy has finally made a decision re their release and pushed it back from April to June 2017. THE CHILDHOOD OF A LEADER:  Get ready Poland, the DVD/Bluray is coming soon. Ireland should pencil in 6 April 2017 for a screening at Carrick Cineplex. DIOR:  A new movie is coming – apparently.  With Robert in that polo | turtle neck I hope. IN OTHER NEWS:  I came across an interesting interview from Sean Price Williams, the cinematographer for Good Time.  He doesn’t talk GT, but he does discuss his methods.   I tweeted links for 2 competitions here and here to win a copy of The Childhood of a Leader on DVD in anticipation of its UK release.  Michelle’s continued keeping us up to date with Robert’s films on FOXTEL. COMING UP NEXT WEEK:  We will find out the date for the premiere of The Lost City of Z at Berlinale.  The Childhood of a Leader will be released on DVD in the UK tomorrow, 30 January 2017 and you can see the film at Chicago on 1 February 2017 and Ireland on 2 February 2017.  See you next week.
